‘Joe Millionaire: For Richer Or Poorer’: Calah Jackson Explains Mysterious Attitude
There’s a contestant on Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer who both men have been quite smitten with. Calah Jackson has been tough for Steven McBee and Kurt Sowers to read. In fact, the guys couldn’t even figure out which one of them she was more attracted to. She finally started opening up more once she met the guys’ families. Now, she’s explaining why she’s had this mysterious attitude and appeared closed off throughout much of the show.
Why has Joe Millionaire contestant Calah Jackson seemed closed off?
ScreenRant shared what Calah Jackson had to say on Twitter about her closed-off personality. She’s been so mysterious and quiet that Steven and Kurt actually nicknamed her “the curious case of Calah Jackson.” They have both been attracted to her and her mysterious personality probably attracted them even more. They have both wanted to break down her walls and get to know what makes her Calah.
The guys have kept her around week after week in hopes she would open up and let them in.
So, fans have also wondered the same thing about her. Why is she not opening up and putting herself out there to find a strong connection with Steven and Kurt? One fan tweeted in defense of her and Calah responded.
Calah said, “It takes time for me to let someone in and be completely vulnerable because of my past experiences. Add in 20 cameras in your face 24/7 to the mix and you’ll get ‘the curious case of Calah Jackson.'”
She’s not the first one to complain and mention how difficult it can be with filming taking place all day long.

The final four
Calah has made it to the final four along with Annie, Carolyn and Amanda. Calah has finally started opening up and she also has realized she is most definitely team Steven.
Calah explained to the men in a recent episode that one of her past relationships really left her broken and this is another reason why she had such a hard time opening up. She also says she shared that part of her shyness was due to the cameras and filming. Calah reportedly shared that part off-camera with Kurt and Steven.
So, Steven has a big decision to make come the finale of Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer.
