Lala Kent Plans To Have An ‘Honest Conversation’ With Daughter Ocean

Lala Kent revealed that she plans to have an “open conversation” with her daughter Ocean Emmett. She answered a fan on how she’ll handle the “negative” stories about her dad Randall Emmett. The Vanderpump Rules star is navigating her life as a single mom amid their split. Lala is not going to hold back when it comes to an honest relationship with her daughter.

She shares her 11-month-old daughter with her ex-fiance Randall Emmett. The two are currently exploring their co-parenting relationship. Lala made it clear that she has no interest in speaking with the film producer. They only communicate through an app when it comes to their daughter.

Lala Kent came across a question about her situation with Randall Emmett. One fan wondered how she’ll handle the negativity concerning Ocean’s father. The question was first posted on the celebrity gossip Instagram account Deux Moi. The Bravo star took to her respective Instagram Story to address the question.

On Monday, February 21, the Give Them Lala founder admitted that she’s concerned about what her daughter will come across when she’s older. However, she plans to have an “open conversation” with her about everything. That includes what happened with her and Randall’s relationship.

“I worry about a lot of things,” Lala Kent responded. “But I will explain to my daughter if she has questions and the time is appropriate, what happened. It will be an open conversation–most importantly an honest conversation.”

The most important to the Bravo star is teaching her daughter how to be a “good person.” She was alluding to her and Randall’s split. In October 2021, the couple ended their three-year engagement due to the rampant cheating allegations. Lala claimed that he allegedly cheated on her with multiple women. The two haven’t spoken since and she’s been focused on her daughter.

Vanderpump Rules wants to keep her daughter “safe”

Lala Kent wanted to end her response on a positive note. She said that she plans to take good care of her daughter. She wants her daughter to feel “safe,” among other things. Despite the challenges, the reality star has a good feeling that her daughter will just be fine.

“I will send her into the world feeling strong, safe, and loved,” Lala Kent continued. “She will be unbreakable. The world isn’t ready for the force my daughter will become.”

Lala and Randall welcomed their daughter Ocean in March 2021. She has since spoken out about their split and the alleged cheating rumors. Lala has since entered the dating pool. However, fans won’t know who she’s been kissing lately.
