Scheana Shay Talks Embarrassments, Bad Relationships On ‘Pump Rules’

Scheana Shay opened up about her embarrassing moments and bad relationships on Vanderpump Rules. The reality star has many to recall. Nowadays, she’s in a solid relationship with her fiance Brock Davies. The two are focusing on their future together while he cleans up his past.

Earlier this month, Scheana made an appearance on Dear Media’s Not Skinny, Not Fat podcast. The show wrapped up its ninth season in December 2021. It’s hasn’t yet been renewed for a tenth. The Bravo star reflected back at her time on the show. Scheana talked about her dating history and the bad luck she’s had with men up until now.

Are her Pump Rules co-stars not happy for her?

Scheana Shay revealed that none of her co-stars were happy for her. The couple faced backlash for sharing their engagement news with the cast in Santa Barbara. But, it was bad timing since it happened during James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss’ engagement party. Scheana thinks her co-stars should’ve been happy for her, no matter what.

“No one’s ever [excited] for me. With any good news, especially in this group, I think Ariana is the only one who’s ever like genuinely excited for me,” Scheana Shay said. “And I know Raquel would have been. It reminded me of the season six finale when we’re at the TomTom construction site. And I put on a construction hat and I go up to [Robert Parks-Valletta] and I’m like, ‘I’m going to be only wearing this later. What do you think about that?’ And he’s like, ‘Can I get another drink?'”

Scheana Shay hasn’t had much luck in the love department. Most of her dating life has played out on the reality series. However, she doesn’t think Rob wasn’t purposely trying to embarrass her on national TV.

They spoke afterward and he said he was “so worried about his grandparents watching the show.” Scheana doesn’t mind showing that racy side of herself. So, she was shocked when he “shut it down and ignored me.” The two have since become “friends” and “hang out” with Brock.

Scheana Shay is on good terms with most of her exes. Despite her rocky dating history, she didn’t want to end it on bad terms. During the lengthy interview, she also admitted the bad choices she made at the end of her marriage to her ex-husband Mike Shay. He was struggling with his addiction at the time of their split.

“Now that I look back and I see that addiction, it is a disease… I said so many ignorant things, like, ‘Why do you have to drink to get drunk? Why can’t you just have one glass of wine with me?'” Scheana Shay explained. “I didn’t understand how serious it was to be an alcoholic [and] to have an addiction problem. It was not his fault.”

The former couple is now on good terms. Scheana says she still keeps in touch with Mike to this day. They keep their relationship respectful. They share congrats and wishes during birthdays and holidays.
