Lala Kent Calls Out Tabloid For ‘Complete Lie’ About Randall Emmett
Lala Kent does not appreciate it when tabloids spread lies about her relationship with Randall Emmett. The Pump Rules star took to her Instagram Stories to call out one in particular. She’s made it clear that she’s no longer speaking to her former fiance. The two haven’t spoken since she left him in October 2021.
The former couple only communicates through an app when it comes to their daughter, Ocean. Other than that, Lala has no interest in talking to the film director. A tabloid claimed that Lala ran into Randall at a Super Bowl party. As TV Show Ace previously reported, that wasn’t the case as she spent most of her time with some of the Vanderpump Rules cast members.
Vanderpump Rules star rumored run-in with Randall Emmett
On Tuesday, February 15, Us Weekly reported that Lala Kent and Randall Emmett shared a “brief” interaction at a Super Bowl LVI party after their split. An insider claimed that they “felt obligated to say ‘hi.'” The alleged source spoke to the tabloid about the supposed sighting.
“It was like they didn’t know they would be at the same party and ran into each other and couldn’t avoid each other because they were in the same VIP section,” an insider told Us Weekly.
The tabloid claims their interaction was “brief.” The two were “in good spirits” despite the cheating scandal. Lala Kent and Randall’s rumored run-in took place at Sports Illustrated’s “The Party,” which was hosted by ABC, Talent Resources, and Resorts World. Us Weekly’s insider claims that everyone knew they were both attending the event despite their complicated past.
“Others definitely picked up on the fact that they were at the same party, especially since their split was so public,” the source added.
Lala was there with her former Pump Rules co-star Brittany Cartwright. The Give Them Lala founder has denied Us Weekly’s claim. She calls the report a “complete lie.” Even her rep denied that the interaction happened.
Lala Kent denies having a “brief” interaction with her ex
That same day, Lala Kent took to her Instagram Stories to call out the tabloid. She was not happy that they would run a false story. While she admitted that she attended the same party, Lala is glad that she never ran into her ex. She never would’ve interacted with him if it were to happen.
“This a complete lie…I never saw him. Never laid eyes on him, thankfully,” Lala Kent wrote. “IFFFF I did see him, he would never get an ‘obligated hi’ from me. I want to maintain as much distance from his as possible, for many reasons.”
The Bravo star explained that she only communicates with Randall through an app. Yet, that is “where it ends & that will not change.” Lala Kent echoed the same sentiments in a previous interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The former pair only uses the app to work out their co-parenting relationship.
Lala also praised Randall’s ex-wife Ambyr Childers on her Instagram Stories. The 31-year-old showed some love for the You star. She complimented on her look at the event, adding, “It’s all too good.” When Lala first dated Randall, she would make no mention of him or his ex-wife on the reality series.
