Jessa Seewald Hard Up For Cash After Losing Brand Partnership?
Could former Counting On star Jessa Seewald be hard up for cash? The Duggar daughter may be desperate for money after her recent partnership abruptly came to an end. Stick around to get the full update.
With the cancelation of Counting On, the Duggar kids are looking for other ways to make money. Several have started YouTube channels. While the Duggars can make money from ad revenue on their videos, they can make extra cash with brand partnerships.
A brand might pay them a flat rate or a commission in exchange for an ad. Depending on the contract, a Duggar might post the ad on YouTube, Instagram, or somewhere else.
Last week, Jessa Seewald shared a video of her family’s ugly Christmas sweater party. In the video, she cut in with a short ad for a company called Native. They sell deodorant, soap, and more.
Shortly after the video was uploaded, Jessa’s partnership came to an abrupt end. Blogger Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball contacted Native and informed the company of the Duggar family’s beliefs. Then, Native dropped Jessa, and she removed the ad from her video.
It’s unclear how much Jessa could have possibly made from the Native ad. Katie Joy argues that she wouldn’t make much from sponsorships but that she likely makes most of her money from ad revenue on YouTube.
However, Jessa Seewald’s recent YouTube activity may hint that she’s hard up for cash. Since losing the partnership, she’s been unusually active on her YouTube channel. Could she be trying to recoup the lost income?
Is Jessa Seewald desperate for cash after losing her latest partnership?
Jessa Seewald could be ramping up her YouTube activity after losing her latest brand sponsorship. Typically, she doesn’t follow a YouTube upload schedule as some other users do. So, fans can’t necessarily expect a new video every day or every Thursday, for example.
In the last three weeks, Jessa has uploaded four videos. One was uploaded three weeks ago, one was posted six days ago, one came 20 hours ago, and the most recent video was posted just a couple of hours ago. So, within the past 24 hours, she’s uploaded twice after sharing just a few times throughout the past three weeks.
Interestingly, these two most recent videos were published days after she lost her brand partnership with Native. So, it’s possible that she is trying to make up for the lost money.
Or it’s possible that she’s simply had more content to share recently or that she wants to get into the routine of publishing more regular update videos.
So, do you think Jessa Seewald’s sudden increase in YouTube uploads has anything to do with her loss of a brand partnership? Or do you think she’s simply had more to post the past few days?
