Fans Demand Clayton Echard Compensate Them, But Why?
Fans of The Bachelor can be very passionate when something doesn’t sit right with them. It’s come up now that some fans were so upset with Clayton Echard they were asking for compensation. What is it they wanted compensation for? Keep reading to find out more.
Fans want Clayton Echard to compensate them, but why?
The Sun shared all about why fans are wanting compensation from Clayton Echard. Everyone knows that this season Shanae Ankney is the villain. She may go down as one of the meanest villains in Bachelor history. Mocking mental health issues is not something fans have taken lightly.
So, why do some fans think Clayton owes them something? Apparently many fans were put out by the whole “shrimp gate” drama with Shanae. The issue took over the majority of the two-hour episode. Just to refresh memories, Shanae was angry the girls didn’t want her shrimp.
Of course, it also went more into Shanae blaming Elizabeth Corrigan for just about anything she could think of. She made Elizabeth out to be a bully to Clayton. He sent Elizabeth home not knowing what was really going on behind his back. He later apologized to Elizabeth.
However, fans were not happy about “shrimp gate” so they wanted Clayton to pay, literally. Some sent actual money requests to Clayton on his real Venmo account. Their claim was they wanted compensation for brain cells lost and pain and suffering. The requests ranged from as low as $1 to $50 and beyond.
One fan said they wanted $1.00 for “The trauma of shrimp gate.”
Clayton went to Instagram to ask fans to stop. He said, “Y’all need to stop this right now.” He then included a laughing emoji.
The drama of Shanae
Fans are more than ready to see Shanae get the boot. They were infuriated when she was kept over Elizabeth. Clayton acknowledged in his apology that had he known what Shanae was really up to he would have sent her home.
In a new preview, it seems several of the women go and approach Clayton about what has been going on when he’s not looking. They told him about Shanae throwing the trophy. He seems stunned and vows to address it with her.
He addresses the accusations with Shanae privately. Will this finally be the end of Shanae and her evil antics?
