‘Euphoria’ Season 3: Renewed Or Canceled By HBO?
Euphoria has been sweeping HBO fans off their feet with its elaborate plot and interesting characters. Season 2 finally came out after two years of waiting. Despite the fact that not all the episodes of Season 2 have aired yet, fans are still anxiously waiting for news on Season 3.
Will there be Euphoria Season 3?
Euphoria starring Zendaya on HBO originally came out in 2019 and became a huge hit. Now, two years later, Season 2 is finally streaming new episodes every Sunday for fans to enjoy. According to Entertainment Weekly, the launch of the new season is even bigger than when the show first came out.
Apparently, the first episode of the new season of the show had 13 million viewers. The average for the first season was 6.6 million viewers. This means that the number of viewers of the show has doubled in the last two years.
According to Entertainment Weekly, “That episode also has the claim of being the most social premium cable episode since the Game of Thrones series finale in 2019.”
So, will there be a Season 3? Yes, HBO has given Euphoria the green light to come back for another season.
“Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken Season 2 to extraordinary heights, challenging narrative convention and form, while maintaining its heart. We couldn’t be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into Season 3,” the network states.
Several tweets and social media posts have been going around advertising the new season already.
There’s no release date for the show yet, however considering how long it took Season 2 to come out, fans could be waiting a while for Season 3. Hopefully, it’s worth the wait.

Not everyone is happy
It would seem not everyone is happy about the new season coming out. While the second season is airing new episodes every Sunday, some fans are becoming more and more disappointed with the direction the writing is going. Some are even demanding new writers if Season 3 is to be done properly.
“As much as I love Euphoria and Zendaya, I feel that it getting renewed for Season 3 was kinda bittersweet. It absolutely deserved to because it’s a PHENOMENAL show, but I’m nervous that, that director of theirs gonna ruin it and the fans won’t even recognize it anymore,” one person writes on Twitter.
“am i the only one that doesn’t have hope for euphoria season 3,” another says.
Others however are jumping in to defend the show: “it honestly makes me sad that people now think euphoria is a bad show & are already speaking negatively about season 3.”
