Michael Ilesanmi Breaks Away From Angela Deem, What Happened?
Michael Ilesanmi and Angela Deem have never been a perfect couple. The two have bickered since their start on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. It then spilled over to 90 Day Fiance and has not stopped. Still, they have maintained they are in love and want to be together until the end. Now it appears Michael is breaking away from Angela as she has undergone her own wild and free transformation. Have they fallen apart or is this just a TLC ploy for a new spinoff?
Michael and Angela Deem- The Way They Were
Viewers first met the couple in Season 2 of Before the 90 Days. Angela and Michael had met online and began communicating with one another. She lived in Georgia while he was from Nigeria. Despite a 20+ year age gap, Angela decided to fly overseas to meet him. It was not an easy trip and the two broke things off at the end of the season. They returned for Season 3 of the series and tried to make it work. Lucky for them, it did and earned them a coveted spot on Season 7 of 90 Day Fiance.
The hardest part for the couple was that Angela could not have a child. She was desperate to give him a baby so she went to great lengths to achieve this. Angela even asked her daughter for an egg because she felt they could do IVF. Furthermore, there were theft accusations and it appeared the couple had way more problems than happy times. Additionally, Michael’s visa was denied so he would not be able to come live in the US. She ultimately married him in Nigeria in 2020.
Angela decided she wanted to improve herself, against Michael’s better judgment so she underwent plastic surgery. She received a gastric sleeve, breast reduction, and liposuction to help her lose an impressive amount of weight. The two continued to appear in 90 Day shows where an angered Angela flashed the camera in a tell-all. Her behavior was cause for concern but she soon learned Michael was with her because he loved her not for a Green Card. This settled a lot of debates yet now it seems he has strayed.
Michael and Angela No More?
Angela Deem proudly had Michael on a tight leash. She never allowed him to work, giving him a stipend to stay at home. Now it appears he is out, living his own life with none other than Usman “Sojaboy” Umar. Both men are from Nigeria, have been with considerably older women from the states, and were questioned for their choices. Prior to Michael being seen with Usman, he had always shared an Instagram account with his wife. Now, he has his own account which has already amassed over fifty thousand followers.
Furthermore, he can be found on TikTok and is promoting his Cameo appearances. Angela would never allow this behavior unless there was trouble in paradise. In his stories, he is seen with Usman and his posts are only of Angela, pre-weight loss. He is not celebrating the new woman that she has become. Now, some are questioning if she is the one controlling his new account while others think this is him announcing he is single.

I have to be because that old bat Angela rules him you have to feel sorry for the guy she practically stole his manhood.there was so many times that I wished I could just go thru the TV and tell him to wake up and smell the coffee.she thinks that she can do anything and Michael can’t do crap well she might let him do that lol but then again who knows.i pity any man that gets with that woman
