‘Too Hot To Handle’: How Much Alcohol Is Allowed?
On a show like Too Hot To Handle, you might expect there to be a limitless flow of alcoholic drinks. But have you ever noticed that the contestants never seem drunk? There’s absolutely a reason for that.
So what does the drink situation look like on the set of Netflix’s wildest dating show? The answer may just surprise you.
How much alcohol can Too Hot To Handle contestants have?
There’s already enough drama on Too Hot To Handle without alcohol. Can you imagine how much more chaotic things would be if the contestants got intoxicated? The entire point of the show is to get candidates to follow the abstinence rules. This might be virtually impossible if the contestants drank.
Capital FM reports that there is a strict two-drink limit per night on the set. They had a chance to speak with season winner Harry Johnson who spilled the beans. The news outlet asked Harry what he wanted to do if he had a reunion with the rest of the cast.
“Just drink plenty of alcohol because we didn’t get much on the show. Two drinks a day doesn’t get you drunk,” he replied.
The Season 3 contestants definitely had a hard time keeping their hands off each other. Some fans even believe that things were just too chaotic this season. Holly and Nathan were the worst offenders of the group and repeatedly broke the rules.
Now imagine a version of Holly and Nathan that had too much to drink. It’s pretty clear that these rules are in place for a reason.
What happened after the season ended?
If you finished Too Hot To Handle Season 3, then you know that Harry Johnson and Beaux Raymond walked away with the prize money. The two seemed really happy and in love at the time. Although Harry and Beaux are still in contact with each other, they recently confirmed their split.
But even though they aren’t together anymore, neither winner has regrets.
“I don’t have any regrets from the show,” Beaux told Us Weekly in an exclusive interview. “…I wouldn’t have changed it because it wouldn’t have been me. But at the end of the day, if it didn’t happen, something else might not have come from it.”
“I’m very happy with the way things all went,” Harry echoed her sentiments. “I feel like there was a lot of closure at the end for everybody. Everyone handled everything very [well], and whether things went south, they went north, whatever direction, everybody seemed to come out of it happy, consistently just themselves and not having to fake anything, and I think that’s the best part about it. I wouldn’t change anything going back.”
