Former Counting On star Jessa Seewald is defying her father Jim Bob Duggar’s rules again. The Duggar daughter has slowly started ditching some of the guidelines she had to follow growing up. Recently, she shared photographic proof that she’s not doing things the way her parents did when she was growing up. So, what’s changed for Jessa Seewald?

If you’re a Duggar fan, you likely know about all of the strict rules the kids are expected to follow growing up. From not watching TV to dressing modestly, they have many guidelines to follow.

Over the past couple of years, fans have witnessed Jessa Seewald abandoning some of her family’s rules. For instance, she started wearing pants, which is typically frowned upon in the Duggar home. For the most part, she seems to stick to a lot of her family’s values, unlike her rebel sisters, Jinger Vuolo and Jill Dillard.

In a new social media post, Jessa proved that she’s over another one of her father Jim Bob Duggar’s rules.

Jessa Seewald ditches one of Jim Bob Duggar’s rules.

On social media, Jessa Seewald revealed that her husband, Ben, went to a barbershop for a haircut and beard trim. The Duggar daughter writes, “I’ve always cut Ben’s hair, but the beard has intimidated me. This morning, Ben got a haircut + beard trim + beard line-up from @myguythebarber479. Loved watching the process… and I think I’ll leave the beard to the professionals!”

It might come as a surprise to fans to see Jessa’s husband visiting a barbershop. After all, Jessa has been cutting her siblings’ hair for years.

Jessa Seewald previously uploaded a series of haircut tutorial videos to YouTube. She made one featuring her husband, Ben, as well as a couple of videos of her sons, Spurgeon and Henry. Fans greatly appreciated these videos, especially during the coronavirus quarantine when people couldn’t go out and get haircuts.

The Duggar family’s at-home haircuts were also documented on their TLC shows over the years. It was all a part of their commitment to saving money. But now, it looks like Jessa isn’t too concerned about saving a little money on a nice haircut for her husband. Jim Bob Duggar might not approve of this decision, though.

So, do you think that Jessa Seewald will continue to break Jim Bob Duggar’s rules and distance herself from the way she was raised? Do you think it’s a big deal? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. For the latest Duggar family news, come back to TV Shows Ace.

  1. JESSA SEEWALD SAYS GOODBYE TO ANOTHER ONE OF JIMBOB’S RULES MY ASS?
SHE FOLLOWS ALL HIS RULES AS DOES BEN EO THEY CAN GET ANY AND EVERYTHING THEY WANT AND NEED FOR THERE FAMILY AND HOME.THEY ARE BOTH NOT STUPID?
LET’S SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SHE HAS TO APPEAR AT JOSHUA’S COURT CÀSE HEARING WITH HER SISTERS AND DADDY IS SITTING THERE LOOKING HER STRAIGHT IN HER EYES AND FACE WILL JESSA TILL THE TRUTH ABOUT AND OF JOSHUA HONESTLY OR WILL SHE LIE JUST FOR AND BECAUSE DADDY PAYS HER WAY FOR EVERYTHING.SHE BETTER BE HONEST AND TRUTHFUL ESPECIALLY WHEN SWEARING UNDER OATH AND IN THE COURT OF LAW.
JESSA, YOU CAN’T SAVE JOSHUA NOBODY CAN …..
AND, YOU SURE AS HELL DON’T DESERVE ANY SAVING OF YOUR LOSER OF A SELFISH, DISGUSTING AND DISGRACE OF CREEP.HE SURE IS NOT FATHER MATERIAL, FIGURE OR FATHER/DAUGHTER FOREVER BOND FORGET THAT BULL.
AND, ESPECIALLY HIS DAILY PRAYERS AND ASKING THE LORD FOR HELP AND THEN FORGIVENESS AFTER HE TELLS THREE TO FIVE LIES A DAY HE DID THAT ON BOTH OF THE SHOWS TOO! NINETEEN KIDS AND COUNTING AND COUNTING ON AND I SAW IT ON BOTH SHOWS.BELEIVE ME.,.

  2. Now that Jessa and her siblings ate married and families of their own, they don’t have to live by anyone’s rules but their own. Jim Bob might not like it, but to bad.

  3. I love how the media keeps trying to drum up traffic without any substance. When was haircuts at home a part of their religion? When did Jim Bob say that’s a rule? When did he say everyone needs to cut hair at home forever and ever? He didn’t to my knowledge. Instead, as typical, media implies it just to write another story and drum up drama for clicks and then fail to deliver. Classic clickbait.
