Does Teresa Giudice Blame Bravo For Her Marriage Demise To Joe?

Teresa Giudice revealed whether the Bravo show was responsible for her divorce from Joe Giudice. She’s been part of the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey since its premiere in 2009. At the time, she was married to Joe Giudice. The couple has been through their shares of ups and downs, especially when it came to their finance and tax issues.

The 49-year-old is returning to the new season of RHONJ. For the first time, she will appear alongside her new man Luis Ruelas. Teresa made an appearance on the Tuesday, January 25, episode of Sirius XM’s Radio Andy. During the interview, she reflected back on her marriage with Joe and how the show may have played a role.

Teresa Giudice talks about the obvious change in her life

Teresa Guidice is reflecting back on her marriage and personal mistakes. She feels that her life would’ve turned out differently if she had never been on the show. For one, Teresa feels that she wouldn’t have ended up in jail.

In 2015, she served an 11-month jail sentence for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. Four years later, her ex-husband Joe Giudice finished his 41-month sentence for the same charges. Host Andy Cohen asked Teresa if she thinks Joe would’ve gone to jail if he wasn’t on the show.

“I don’t think so, because really the big thing that he did was he didn’t file taxes and sometimes people do go in for not filing but then if you settle with them and you say you’re going to pay, maybe you won’t go away,” Teresa Giudice explained.

Andy noted that the Bravo star got a “harsh sentence” because she was famous. Then, he asked Teresa if she would still be married to Joe if she wasn’t on the show.

“Maybe, yeah I mean listen, I was the best wife ever and I know to Louie I am going to be even better because you get better with age and you learn things,” Teresa Giudice answered. “Maybe we would have.”

Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice share daughters Gia, 2, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 13. In September 2020, the couple finalized their divorce after 20 years of marriage. Teresa has since found new love with a new man. Luis popped the question in October 2021 during their trip to Greece.

Previously, Teresa made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. She revealed that Joe gets along with her fiance. He even joined the couple on their trip to the Bahamas. Teresa’s fiance was the one who set it up and did it without her knowing.

“They like each other,” Teresa Giudice said. “We went to the Bahamas and went to go see Joe, and Louie DM’ed Joe behind my back. I didn’t even know. He’s like, ‘We’re coming out there. I would like for us to all have dinner.'”
