Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder announced her new book. She is taking accountability for her actions. She claims that she’s done a lot of reflecting on her past actions and behavior. In June 2020, Bravo fired the reality star for her past racially insensitive comments and behavior.

On Wednesday, January 26, Stassi took to Instagram to announce her new book, which is the follow-up to Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook. Stassi was inspired to write this new book, which is “on surviving rock bottom.” The former SUR-ver compared herself to Marie Antoinette and admitted that she has a lot to learn still.

What is the Basic B*tch Handbook?

Apparently, Stassi Schroeder wants to stick with this time. In April 2019, she released her first book, Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook. The quick read encourages her fans and followers to be themselves. It landed at the top of The New York Times Bestselling list.

However, Stassi Schroeder was not the center of controversy yet. She hit a peak on Pump Rules. Suddenly, Stassi was one of the most popular cast members. Fans loved her because she was so honest and brazen about her love for murder, Halloween, and witches. She also didn’t hold back when it came to the drama that took place on the show.

Stassi Schroeder was a self-proclaimed “basic b*tch.” So, she wanted to share all she knew and loved with her fans. At the time, Stassi had a successful #OOTD fashion blog and podcast titled “Straight Up with Stassi.” In the book, she encouraged her fans to become “champions” of the thing they are afraid to love in public.

For example, Stassi is known for her love of ranch dressing, hot dogs, astrology, Pinot Grigio, and Aperol Spritz. She doesn’t care what people think of her. While most people hoped that Stassi would share more of her life in her first book, it sounds like she will do that in her forthcoming book. On Wednesday, the former Bravo star took to Instagram to share the front and back of her new handbook. It’s titled Off With My Head: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom. The light gray cover features Stassi Schroeder dressed up as Marie Antoinette. On the back, she admits that she’s changed a lot in the past two years.

“The last couple of years have been a freaking rollercoaster for everyone – there’s been a lot of loss, a lot of big realizations, and a lot of unexpected changes – for most of us, anyway,” Stassi Schroeder wrote in her post. “It’s no secret I’ve made some big mistakes and have been called out for them, but I’ve also done a lot of reflecting and learning… and writing.”

Her new book is a guide for those who hit “rock bottom,” whatever that means for them. Stassi also promises to “shed some light on what happened with me.” More importantly, she hopes that her stories inspire others to rise back up. She also hopes to make her fans laugh as she always had.

Her Vanderpump Rules friends took to the comment section to share their support. Katie Maloney wrote, “I love you!!! So proud of you,” while fellow former cast member Kristen Doute added, “so proud of you!!!” Katie’s husband Tom Schwartz simply added the fire emoji.
