‘Teen Mom’ Kailyn Lowry Reveals MTV Owes Her A Paycheck, Here’s Why
Kailyn Lowry recently found financial freedom. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the PPP forgave her two loans amounting to $48,000. That means she’s out of the clear. Since she’s building her $850,000 mansion, she’s looking for money from MTV. Kailyn claims that the network should “run her a check” for her deleted scene with Briana DeJesus.
Her name popped up on the new series Teen Mom: Family Reunion. Kailyn wasn’t happy when the MTV Instagram account shared a deleted scene where Briana mentioned her. Now, she wants the network to “run her a check.” This comes after Kailyn bragged that she earns more from her podcast than she does for one episode of Teen Mom.
Kailyn Lowry demands MTV to “run her a check”
In the never-before-seen clip from Teen Mom: Family Reunion, Briana DeJesus talked about her feud with Kailyn. The clip was posted on Instagram. Kailyn caught wind of that clip and aired her frustrations on the Instagram post.
“I think it all stemmed from me being the fifth girl added to Teen Mom [2],” Briana says in the unaired clip. “Then I start talking to her ex-husband [Javi Marroquin] and I think that just was like the icing on the cake and then she hated me ever since.”
Briana told her fellow classmates that Kailyn was “intimidated” by her. Leah Messer went for a walk with Briana and told her that she hopes they work out their issues. Kailyn took to the official MTV Instagram account after she saw the clip. She called it “bulls***.”
“Absolutely not. This is bulls***,” Kailyn Lowry wrote in the comment section. “But yall can run me my check for talking about me at all & filming it.”
Fans supported Kailyn’s comment. They don’t understand why her name was brought up even though she’s not on the show. Some slammed Briana for “trying to start some s***.” Another claimed that it was an “uncomfortable situation” for everyone involved.
Their Teen Mom feud lives on
Kailyn and Briana’s feud has carried on without the show. Kailyn previously shared that Briana sent her a treadmill in an effort to body-shame her. She claimed that the gift “seems like an awfully expensive thing to send to someone as an insult.” In June 2021, Kailyn sued Briana for defamation.
Briana claimed that Kailyn got into a physical altercation with Chris Lopez, who is the father of her two sons. She also accused her of breaking and entering Chris’s mom’s home. Per the court papers obtained by The Sun, Briana and Kailyn are expected to return to court on Friday, January 14. The hearing will rule on Briana’s anti-SLAPP motion, which protects a person’s freedom of speech.
She filed the motion in August 2021 to have the case dismissed. Their drama first started when Kailyn was missing from the June 8, 2021, episode of Teen Mom 2. Briana claimed that Kailyn’s absence was because she allegedly beat up Chris Lopez. Kailyn defends her innocence to this day.
She claims that Briana’s claims “threaten” her “ability to earn a living.” She is seeking $30,000, including the costs and attorney’s fees, and a jury trial. Yet, Briana’s lawyer thinks Kailyn’s lawsuit is “meritless” and just wants her to pay his client’s legal fees.
