’90 Day Fiance’: See Jon & Rachel Walters’ Reunion After Years Apart
90 Day Fiance fan-favorite couple Jon and Rachel Walters have not seen each other in two years. This is not by choice but due to the pandemic. They have been desperately trying to get him over to the United States from England but it has not been the easiest journey. Now, the duo is finally back together and sharing the exciting details.
A 90 Day Fiance Love Story
Rachel and Jon were first featured on Season 2 the 90 Day Fiance spinoff, Before the 90 Days. The two met in an extremely fun way. They both loved karaoke so the two found themselves dueting on the international app, Smule. That was when they clicked and immediately started dating. With Rachel in New Mexico and Jon in England, they were faced with figuring out how to meet in person.
At the same time, Rachel discovered she was pregnant with her second child. It did not affect their relationship at all for Jon was ready to be a father figure. After her second child was born, she packed her up and they headed to England. She and Jon tied the knot in May 2018 and aimed to live happily ever after. Sadly, his past record held him up from getting a visa to America.
The two worked very hard to get a lawyer and save the money needed so they could get Jon to America. Despite the time apart, their love never waned. Unfortunately, COVID hit in 2020 and it halted any plans the couple had of being together. Now, it seems the long wait is over and the family is back together again after two long years apart.
Reunited And It Feels So Good
Rachel has been updating her 90 Day Fiance following as she heads overseas to see Jon after two years. Last summer, Jon’s visa was denied once again but they are still going strong and holding on hope. They have shown love conquers all. That being said, two days ago, Rachel shared footage of her and her youngest daughter, Lucy at the airport on their way to England. Her followers could not contain their excitement: “YAYAYAYAY!!!! Safe travels. I’m so excited for your family to finally reunite again.”
By yesterday, they had successfully made it through one flight and had just one more to go. Then, Rachel shared the big news she and Lucy had finally made it to their final destination. She shared they are extremely grateful for all of the support and will definitely be posting photos. However, for now, they just want to enjoy this happy time together.
