‘Dancing With The Stars’ Tour Adds More Same-Sex Routines To The Show
Dancing With The Stars Season 30 definitely broke down a few barriers. We saw Jenna Johnson and JoJo Siwa compete as the first same-sex couple on the show. But that’s not where it ends — the Dancing With The Stars tour will reportedly feature more same-sex routines. If you’re going to see the show, you’re definitely in for a treat!
The Dancing With The Stars tour brings something different to the stage in 2022
Dancing With The Stars posted on their official Instagram page that the tour’s theme this year is “Dare To Be Different.” And that definitely includes shaking things up a bit. Since Season 30 wrapped up, the touring pros have been hard at work developing their routines. They’re coming to many cities across the United States to show off what they came up with.
Neither JoJo Siwa nor Jenna Johnson will be part of the tour this winter. However, the rest of the cast is using one of their show-stopping routines in their lineup. Jenna even came to rehearsals to help choreograph some numbers.
ET had the chance to talk to some of the cast members during rehearsals. Gleb Savchenko and Alan Bersten confirmed that they will be the ones taking on Jenna and JoJo’s recreated number. Are you excited to see what the boys can bring to the table?
It definitely takes a lot of teamwork to recreate one of the season’s most iconic numbers. During the interview, Gleb admitted that Alan is really one of his favorite dance partners on the tour this year.

If you want to get tickets to the Dancing With The Stars tour this year, there’s still time. The first show kicks off on January 7 and the tour will run through March 22. Check out the official tour website to view a full list of stops and get your tickets as soon as possible. Space fills up fast, especially since there will be exciting guests joining the pro dancers for limited engagements.
The regular tour cast consists of reigning champion Daniella Karagach and her husband Pasha Pashkov, married duo Emma Slater and Sasha Farber, Artem Chigvintsev, Brandon Armstrong, Gleb Savchenko, Alan Bersten, Britt Stewart, Season 30 backup dancer Sofia Ghavami, and a few swings too.
Depending on the date, you can see special guests like Season 29 champ Kaitlyn Bristowe and Season 30 contestants Jimmie Allen, Amanda Kloots, and the champion himself Iman Shumpert.
