Scary LPBW news as Roloff Farms catches on fire. According to this breaking Little People, Big World news, some of the flames were six feet tall and there was smoke pouring everywhere. LPBW: Roloff Farms catches on fire

Matt Roloff took to Instagram about an hour ago to reveal something terrifying happened at Roloff Farms yesterday. According to Matt, they dodged a huge bullet with their 110 year old chicken barn.

The TLC star started off his post by giving a huge shoutout to his friend Ty. He explained that Ty puts pressure on him each year to fill his property with as many working and up-to-date fire extinguishers as he can find room for. Thanks to his friend Ty and all of the helpful hands on the property at the time, they were able to quickly get control of the fire.

According to Matt, he had to call 911 around 10 a.m. when they discovered smoke pouring out of the sides of the barn. Matt emphasized the word pouring as he described the smoke.

 

Did the chickens and barn survive?

Thankfully, Matt reassured fans the chickens had already left the barn for the day. So, they were not injured in the fire. He adds that the quick action of his farm hand Jason and the response of the fire department allowed him to save the chicken barn from total destruction.

What caused Roloff Farms to catch fire?

Fortunately, there is no mystery behind what caused Roloff Farms to catch fire. Matt was able to determine exactly why it happened. Turns out, one of the lights fell down. And it created a fire. Despite the six foot flames and the pouring smokes, the barn suffered minimal damage.

Matt Roloff’s Instagram post showed several snaps of charred wood as well as the fire damage on the outside of the barn. One of his pictures also showed a huge pile of empty fire extinguishers that were used to quickly put out the flames.

Matt ended his post reassuring his followers that none of his chickens were injured and all his well. He suspected the light fell down when the chickens rushed out of the barn.

LPBW fans poured into the comments of Matt’s breaking news. Most admit they were relieved to learn neither Matt’s family nor the chickens were injured. Others also agreed Matt Roloff got lucky as the damaged seemed minimal.
