‘The Bachelor’ Clayton Echard Reveals His Rap Alter Ego & More
It’s almost time to see Clayton Echard as The Bachelor. Ahead of his January 3 premiere, he’s revealing more little-known facts about himself. Fans haven’t gotten too much of a chance to get to know him since he began filming before Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette even aired. Get to know Clayton Echard a little bit better
Fans didn’t get much of a chance to get to know Clayton Echard during Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette. So, ahead of Monday’s big premiere here are some fun facts to help fans get to know him a little better. US Weekly shared some interesting facts about Clayton.
Clayton actually revealed his rap alter ego. He said, “My rap name is Claydoe. (Nobody ever spells it right!)” In fact, Clayton admits to buying an online hip-hop dance course during quarantine. Maybe fans will see some moves during his season. He says a big turn-on for him is a woman who has some good dance moves as well.
While he says he was never really a cat person, he did once have a cat named Beans that he loved dearly. Clayton also says he loves eating at Chipolte and could dine there daily. In fact, he makes homemade Chipolte bowls at home five days a week for breakfast and dinner.
He also divulged that pizza should not be consumed without ranch. When he has time his favorite show on Netflix is Ozark. Plus, his favorite movie is Inception.
While Clayton is chilling watching Netflix he also admits that a guilty pleasure for him is candles.
His professional side
Clayton is currently working on getting his MBA. He also once played football in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks. It was short-lived but never the less a dream come true for him.
His very first job was making fudge at Six Flags in Missouri.
Interesting childhood facts
Clayton shared that he once swallowed a quarter when he was a child. He also had a pretty disgusting experience. He said, “I once ate a piece of dog poop because I thought it was chocolate. I was 6. It was obviously disgusting.” Clayton also says he once attended a N’Sync concert and cried because he was the only boy there.
He has two younger brothers and each of them is two years apart. His mother was an elementary school teacher. He even had her as a teacher for one year. Needless to say, he didn’t get to not do his homework.

As for the future, Clayton hopes to get back to the slopes for some snowboarding soon.
