‘600-Lb. Life’ Fans Coin Lucas Higdon ‘Wholesome Palette Cleanser’
My 600-Lb. Life fans that have already watched Lucas Higdon’s story can’t stop saying good things about him. On the Reddit thread for spoilers about this week’s episode, fans with Discovery+ are pouring into the comments with their thoughts and opinions. While some admit they were bummed the episode wasn’t a dumpster fire of drama… Most were just happy to enjoy such a positive and happy episode. Moreover, viewers couldn’t get enough of Lucas.
Lucas Higdon’s episode coined a “wholesome palette cleanser”
In chatter on Reddit, viewers agree they are always here for a dramatic and explosive episode of My 600-Lb. Life. They, however, also appreciate what they consider to be a “happy episode” where the cast member follows Dr. Now’s advice, loses weight, and gets approved for surgery.
With Lucas Higdon, that is exactly what viewers got. They got a drama-free episode. An episode with someone who worked hard and did everything Dr. Now said. Someone who got his surgery and continued to follow the rules post-surgery. The episode ended on a pretty happy note with no real drama anywhere.
My 600-Lb. Life fans loved Lucas
In the Reddit thread, My 600-Lb. Life fans could not stop talking about Lucas Higdon. They noted he was a wholesome fellow who tried his best. Fans expressed how much they loved seeing him with his niece and nephew. Fans also had a lot of love for Lucas’ sister who was there to support him every step of the way.
Now, fans did admit to finding his mother a little baffling. She was only in the episode briefly. She insisted he didn’t overeat, his problem was getting seconds. This comment left viewers scratching their heads as they believed getting seconds was the same thing as overeating too many servings.
