Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa were criticized for their inappropriate kiss on Christmas Day. The Flip or Flop star and his Selling Sunset wife ate each other’s faces in the notorious photo. In October 2021, they got married in a lavish wedding that had flower arches and bottles of champagne everywhere. The couple is proving to the world that their love is still going strong.

They packed on the PDA for Christmastime. Yet, the HGTV fans didn’t find their family photo affectionate. They argued that the couple should keep their feelings to themselves. Tarek was the one who share their family Christmas photo just a few days before the holiday. He posed alongside his wife Heather and his two children, Taylor and Brayden, 6, who he shares with ex-wife and Flip or Flop co-star, Christina Haak.

The family wore matching black and white checkered onesies that featured red piping on their pants, sleeves, and necklines. The newlyweds got a mouthful of each other as their children cringed in horror. Taylor covered her eyes, while Brayden let out a scream.

“To be fair, in our heads there was a mistletoe!! 😂 okay…the Photgrapher told us to kiss and we were laughing 🤷‍♂️” Tarek El Moussa captioned the photo. “3 day countdown… anyone else love the holidays!?”

Fans were amused. They took to the comment section to share their thoughts. They feel that Heather and Tarek should’ve gotten a room instead. Most of them argued that the kiss itself was inappropriate.

However, not all the comments were negative. Some fans loved seeing the couple being affectionate in front of the kids. To them, it represents what a healthy and normal relationship should be.

“Loveeee this!!! I’m in an ex-relationship where my kids have NEVER seen me affectionate in this way..(with a significant other) so I envy this,” one fan wrote.

Tarek followed up with some more family-friendly photos. In one of them, the crew stood on the sandy beach. Heather and Tarek hold onto their presents, which match their pajamas. In another photo, Tarek carries Brayden on his shoulders, while Taylor holds an adorable puppy.

“Merry Christmas Eve from me and my whole world,” Tarek El Moussa captioned one of the Instagram posts.
