Amy Halterman Stumbles, Has Embarassing Mix Up
Amy Halterman stumbles over her words during tonight’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters and has a pretty embarrassing mix-up. As those who watch the show know, it is pretty common for Amy to have a conversation with the producer and stumble over her words. She often gets mixed up and can’t figure out the word she’s trying to use. The stumble she makes during tonight’s episode, however, is extra embarrassing. Fans, however, agree it was also pretty hilarious.

Amy Halterman was NOT the focus of tonight’s episode
Tonight’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters was largely focused on Tammy and Amy’s brother Chris. He finally got approved for his surgery. Viewers got to watch him go under the knife. Amy Halterman actually didn’t have too many appearances in tonight’s episode. She did have a scene with Michael to tell him about Chris’ approval for weight loss surgery.
She also got on the phone a few times with a few different family members during the weight loss surgery process. Fans did learn Amy and Michael had decided enough was enough and started looking for a house. Amy admits she comes from a dirty poor family and buying a house isn’t something that she ever really expected to do. Jokingly, she noted she and Michael need a dollar store version of their dream house. But, she is determined to get Gage out of the tiny place they live now.
She stumbled over her words talking to the producer
Talking to the producer about her surgery and her brother’s surgery, she recalled an embarrassing incident following the surgery. Amy Halterman explained that while she was still a bit loopy on medication, she tried to strip off all of her clothing. A nurse stopped her because she was in a room with other people. Searching for the word anesthesia, Amy Halterman stumbled over herself and used the word enema instead. Realizing that wasn’t the right medication at all, she cracked up and hid her face in embarrassment before the scene ended.

The family wants to keep Tammy obese. If she has surgery and loses weight, the show would be over.
The dumbest smart family ever.
If Tammy gets the surgery there will still be seasons to watch her journey. There’s always skin removal. But let’s hope she loses weight and gets the surgery for her health or we’ll be watching her funeral next.
I had seen the mistake, I just figured that,s because of her back round. She is not well educated and maybe just doesn’t,t know much.

This is why the show has so much success, It doesn’t seem to be scripted as many reality shows are, Amy and Tammy are there authentic selves and the public seems to love them, I’m sad the finale is coming up, Looking forward to a season 4.
Tammy will NEVER lose weight. She doesn’t have the willpower and she’s too damn LAZY.
I’m not a fan of the show for the simple reason, it’s not in my character to take this kind of garbage into my brain. Amy does nothing but criticism her sister Tammy, like she’s any better? Remember Amy, you came from the same mother, the same rental house, same everything! So while you’re so busy putting your sister down, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Amy if you think you’re better than Tammy tell me how? You are everything she is! You don’t eat right, you don’t bathe, you don’t clean your house and you’d probably still be sleeping around with dirty old men if you hadn’t met Michael. You’re riding on Michaels coat tails. Tammy told it like it is when you said, “I pay my bills bitch”. Tammy told us the only reason you pay your bills is because Michael goes to work each day. Please stop criticizing your sister Amy, you’re telling on yourself, you’re too much like her! Everything you say about her is true about you also, you’re cut from the same cloth!! Be kind!!! It’s a new year, help Tammy to do better and you’ll both look good. Bye!
I believe Tammy is so unhappy that she wants everyone else to be as miserable as her. She doesn’t want to lose weight, because she knows if she does all the attention she craves will be off her. She is so starved for love that she is willing to believe anything these deadbeat men tell her. She should be afraid of catching an STD.
No, there’s nothing even vaguely funny about Amy stumbling over her words or being unable to think of the word she wants to use. This could be indicative of a neurological issue and needs to be evaluated. And yes, Amy IS better than Tammy, at least in regard to losing weight and trying to make a better life for herself and her family! Tammy acts like a spoiled, petulant brat who seems to believe the world, or at least her family, owes her something! She’s offensive and disgusting in every way possible. She tries to cover for her offensive behavior by belittling everyone else, especially those knocking themselves out to help that fat, lazy, spoiled, unappreciative waste of air! I don’t understand her siblings hurting themselves to try to help someone who obviously doesn’t care! They ALL need to cut her loose and let her sink or swim before she drags every last one of them down with her! I understand the mentality of families like the Slatons, because I married into a Slaton-like family in which if you weren’t born into the family, no matter how hard you tried, you were NEVER going to be part of the family! Thank God my husband finally saw that they were not close-knit, but rather were toxic and stepped away from them to save not only me, but himself. The Slatons are never going to stop all but killing themselves in order to try to help a person who doesn’t want to improve herself! Why should she? She’s getting exactly what she wants, everyone fussing, worrying and wringing their hands, scared that she’s going to die. If Tammy started improving, all that attention would be gone, and she can’t allow that!! They will die believing it’s their obligation to take care of her. She doesn’t deserve that kind of loyalty, but she’ll still get it nonetheless.
P. S. Amy needs to fall to her knees and kiss the ground in gratitude for having the easy-going, quiet husband she has who has sacrificed what appears to be just about EVERYTHING in order to make Amy happy living close to her unappreciative sister! They BOTH take advantage of Michael’s easy-going manner. Amy very definitely calls the shots in that house. I wonder if Michael knows that his wife puts her sister and her sister’s needs over him. He does at least as much for Tammy as Amy does! He’s hurt his back, but never complains, at least not on camera, about struggling to push Tammy’s fat a** around everywhere and BOTH sisters acting like it’s just expected that he’s supposed to be doing that! Plus, Michael and Amy seldom ever do anything that most married couples do without having to drag Tammy along, too! If Michael were to keel over from a heart attack, I think the sisters would only miss him because who would haul Tammy around then?! I pray that the Haltermans actually do buy a house, and a fair distance away from Tammy so that they can start living their own lives as a married couple (that is eating Tammy alive with envy, btw) minus dragging that massive whale around with them and steadily moving Michael closer and closer to his grave!!
