Whitney Bates Shares Special Place Kids Went For Christmas
Bringing Up Bates star Whitney Bates shared a very sentimental moment from Christmas Day with fans. It looks like she, her husband Zach, and their four kids had a great holiday together. They seemed to enjoy their day with family. Zach and Whitney share four kids, 7-year-old Bradley, 5-year-old Kaci, 2-year-old daughter Khloé, and 6-month-old Jadon.
This Christmas was bittersweet for the family, however. One exciting part of the holiday season is that it’s their son Jadon’s first Christmas. The newest member of the family arrived in June. On social media, Whitney shared a moment with fans that is both sad and very special, revealing where her kids were on Christmas Day. Amid the joy of the holiday, there were some sad moments too.

In a new Instagram post on Christmas, Whitney shared a few snaps of the kids amid their family’s celebrations. It looks like they spent Christmas Day with her side of the family. In a couple of the photos, all four of her children are sitting together in a recliner.
In the caption, Whitney explains the significance of where the kids are sitting. The mom to four writes, “Papaws big recliner has always been the kids go-to spot to sit with him any time we came over, especially during the holidays. Even though he’s not with us this year, that’s still where the kids wants to be and I know he would love it that way.”
Then, she adds a message for her dad, writing, “Merry Christmas in Heaven, Daddy. I can only imagine the sights your seeing and the glorious time you’re having with the Lord. It hurts us to be here without you, but we love you and know you’re having your best Christmas yet. 🕊”
In case you missed it, Whitney’s dad suddenly passed away last month. This came after a short stay in the ICU. This is her first Christmas without her father around, so it must have been a hard one. Fortunately, she was surrounded by her family and enjoyed lots of special moments with them.
