Lifetime has a thrilling new tale of dark secrets called Single Black Female. This movie stars Raven Goodwin (The Clark Sisters: First Ladies Of Gospel, Our Kind Of People), Amber Riley (Glee, A Black Lady Sketch Show), and a special appearance by K. Michelle (American Soul, K. Michelle: Just Like Jay).
Single Black Female is the story of how a friendship can become an obsession. Would you want to trade in your life for someone else’s?
What Is Lifetime’s Single Black Female About?
According to The Futon Critic, now reeling from the death of her beloved father and a difficult breakup, Monica (Goodwin), is ready to move forward with her life.
Moreover, she tries to land the new hosting job for an afternoon talk show. When she hires a new assistant, Simone (Riley), the two quickly become close friends.
Soon, Simone moves in next door and completely immerses herself in Monica’s life. However, underneath her sweet exterior, Simone harbors a dark secret. Pretty soon, cracks in her façade begin to appear.
However, Monica decides to sever ties once and for all with Simone. But, Simone has other plans and is determined to take over Monica’s life for good.
Can Monica get her life back? Not without a fight.
