Why No Kardashian Christmas Bash This Year?

Once again, there is no annual Kardashian Christmas bash planned for this year. The family canceled it due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Cases are raging once again with the Omicron variant. It’s the catchiest of them all, leading to the surge in cases.

The Kardashian-Jenner family won’t have their annual Christmas Eve bash this year. They want to keep their friends and family safe. Fans looked forward to the family’s traditions such as their Christmas card and lavish celebration.

For the second time in a row, they will forgo the family party and will have individual separations among themselves.

Kardashian Christmas bash is canceled

An insider told TMZ that Kris Jenner canceled the annual Kardashian Christmas bash. The 66-year-old felt it wasn’t a good idea to have such a big celebration. However, she still plans on celebrating the holidays with her children and grandchildren this year. That means the Kardashians will scale back their annual gathering for the second time in a row.

That doesn’t mean the famous family won’t be celebrating among themselves. Sources also told the outlet that they have something planned. But it won’t be anything over-the-top or elaborate like in years past. Their previous celebrations included the likes of Babyface, Chrissy Teigen, Dave Chappelle, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Paris Hilton, Sia, Toni Braxton, among others.

It’s any wonder if Kim Kardashian has plans with her new man Pete Davidson. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the Skims founder has stayed at the Four Seasons in New York City this past week. Does she plan to spend Christmas with Pete on his native Staten Island? Or, will she fly back to California to be with her immediate family?

And if so, will Pete join her? The two have already been traveling back and forth coasts. Earlier this week, Kim and Pete were spotted having breakfast at the Beverly Hills Hotel before jetting back to New York City. TMZ’s sources have a good feeling that Kim plans to celebrate Christmas with her ex-husband, Kanye West, and their four children.

Kardashian-Jenner family canceled their 2020 Christmas bash

Last year, the family canceled their 2020 Christmas party because of the coronavirus pandemic. At the time, the family already received backlash for traveling to a tropical location for Kim’s 40th birthday party. Shortly after that, Kendall Jenner had a huge Halloween/birthday party that was a star-studded event. Kylie was also slammed for traveling around the world after being hailed the “Queen of the Pandemic.”

At the time, it was Khloe Kardashian who broke the news to their followers on Twitter. Fans wanted to know if the family had any plans for Christmas. It seemed as if the Kardashians were already partying and traveling. Kim and Khloe previously revealed that they caught coronavirus before, but still recovered enough to move on with their lives.

“The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year,” Khloe tweeted adding, “It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978 I believe. Health and safety first though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must.”
