Is Tom Schwartz’s Crush On Lisa Vanderpump All For Her Ego?

As fans already know, Tom Schwartz has a raging crush on Lisa Vanderpump. It got out of control during Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. Schwartz lost a bet against the SUR owner and got a tattoo of her initials. He went along with it, to the surprise of fans and his wife Katie Maloney.

Even Vanderpump felt weirded out when she learned he went through with it. Schwartz has been married to Katie since 2019. Despite their marriage, he crushes on the show’s resident Queen Bee. Some fans think his crush on his boss is out of control, especially now that he has her name tattooed on his butt.

Tom Schwartz fell “head over heels” in love with LVP

In Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules, he got LVP’s initials tattoo on his behind in her handwriting in pink. Katie called his decision “idiotic” during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Schwartz’s crush on Vanderpump runs deep. In a 2018 interview with Fair Game, he recalled the time when he fell in love with the restaurateur.

“I think the first time I sat down with her in SUR for an interview, because I needed a job, I needed extra crash, so I sat down with her in SUR and I was just so enamored by her presence,” Tom Schwartz told Kristine Leahy. “And I was like overwhelmed and I don’t know, I was just sort of gaga, and I sort of fell head over heels for her in that moment.”

The reality star tried to sweeten her over in Season 2. Schwartz even fantasizes about shaving Vanderpump’s legs. In Season 8, he was setting the scene in his mind, which sounded like something out of the classic film, The Graduate. He could see Vanderpump extending her leg on the side of her lavish bathtub. Schwartz had a feeling that she smells like “rose petals and $300 candles.”

Why Vanderpump Rules fans don’t believe him

Schwartz claims that he has the hots for Vanderpump to this day. However, not all of the fans believe his crush on the 61-year-old. On Reddit, fans speculated whether Schwartz is “really” crushing on LVP these days. Many wonder if it’s for the show or for Vanderpump to flatter herself.

• “I buy that he thinks she’s an attractive lately. But the over-the-top ‘crush’ on Lisa? Totally staged.”
• “IMO it’s 100% fake. It’s meant to flatter LVP’s giant ego. … It’s so unrealistic and cringy.”
• “I’m sure it’s an act. Everything is so fake on that show. He is likely attracted to her power and money and opportunities that come from kissing her a**.”
• “It’s creepy and overplayed is what it is. Grrr.”

However, some fans believe Schwartz’s crush on Vanderpump. They think he fantasizes about her bossing him around in the bedroom. Another fan thinks Vanderpump loves the attention she gets from the young man.
