Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar Angry Jinger Vuolo Spoke Out Against Josh?
Could Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar be mad at Jinger Vuolo right now? They recently showed a sign that they aren’t on good terms with their daughter, and it might have all begun with Josh Duggar’s conviction.
As you may know, Josh was arrested in the spring and recently convicted on child porn charges. Following his conviction, various members of the Duggar family spoke out. Some fans believe that Jim Bob and Michelle’s statement was weak compared to some of their children’s words on the situation.
Jinger and her husband, Jeremy, issued a bold statement, however. In their statement, they called Josh a hypocrite and said that they are worried for his soul. They questioned whether he is a real Christian. If you would like to read their statement, you can find it here.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar ignore Jinger Vuolo’s birthday.
Now, there are signs that Jinger’s parents might be unhappy with what she said after her brother was found guilty. After all, her statement was very bold. On Tuesday, December 21, Jinger celebrated her 28th birthday. On her Instagram stories, she reposted a couple of stories her friend, Constanza, had posted. Constanza posted a couple of photos of herself and Jinger and wished her a happy birthday.
However, it looks like Constanza is the only person to wish Jinger a happy birthday online. These are the only photos Jinger shared on her stories. None of her other family members shared posts about it being her birthday like they have in the past.
Typically, on the Duggar family Instagram page, Jinger’s parents wish all of their kids, in-laws, and grandchildren a happy birthday. But they skipped Jinger this year. Could it have something to do with her statement about Josh?
Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball notes, “Jim Bob & Michelle didn’t wish her a happy birthday. First time they’ve missed in the years I’ve covered the Duggars.”
There’s also a chance that the family didn’t post about Jinger’s birthday because they’re trying to lay low amid the family drama. But it’s unclear what’s actually going on here.
So, do you think that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar skipped posting for Jinger Vuolo’s birthday because of what she said after Josh was convicted? Or do you think they simply are trying to stay off of social media right now? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
