What Is Hallmark’s Cut, Color, Murder About?
According to the Hallmark press release Ali Bowden (Gonzalo) owns Monarch Beauty Salon. There, she makes it her mission that everyone who visits her beauty parlor gets the best cut and color. Moreover, like all beautify shops, that beauty service comes with a healthy serving of gossip.
With everyone gearing up for the annual Miss Golden Peak pageant, business is booming. Moreover, her sister Chelsea(Beedie) decides to enter the competition.
However, things take a deadly turn when the pageant creator is found dead. Moreover, everyone in town becomes a suspect – including her sister. With information overheard at her own salon, Ali helps the new detective in town, Kyle Crawford (McPartlin), investigate the case.
Doing so brings back memories from when she was trying to help solve her own husband’s murder years prior.
Therefore, just when Ali gets close to uncovering the killer’s identity, she risks everything to get answers. In addition, she learns some startling facts, as she tries to clear the names of those she loves.

Passions Reunion!
Two decades ago, Hallmark star Ryan McPartlin was on the soap Passions. He portrayed Hank Bennett for about four years. Eva Tamargo portrayed Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald from 1999 to 2008. This is the same series such successful stars like Justin Hartley, Lindsay Korman-Hartley, and Jesse Metcalfe cut their chops.
This was a wild soap that was unlike anything that ever has been or ever will be on television. There were supernatural elements, fated romances, and the devil. So, it is no surprise that Ryan mentioned this as he spoke of his reunion with Eva.
Ryan McPartlin wrote on Instagram, “This PASSIONS reunion with @evalution1111 has been many years in the making & her contract with the Devil is still valid because she hasn’t aged a day!!! ❤️👿 So grateful that she agreed to join our project! Her character is amazing! 💃 ”
“We did our best to strike a sexy “Passions” Hank & Pilar pose but couldn’t keep a straight face!”
