Lala Kent Inspired By Kim Kardashian’s Law School Dreams?

Lala Kent let it all out in a new podcast episode. The Vanderpump Rules star dished on Randall Emmett during the Wednesday, December 15 episode of the Give Them Lala podcast. During the episode, she revealed that she wants to become a lawyer.

She may have been inspired by their split. Or, maybe she’s inspired by Kim Kardashian’s law school dreams. Earlier this week, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared that she passed the baby bar exam. Earlier this year, Kim filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian is one step closer to becoming a lawyer

On Monday, December 13, the 41-year-old reality star shared that passed California’s First-Year Law Students’ Exam, also known as the baby bar. Kim made the announcement on Instagram. She has been outspoken about her law school journey and wants to be an advocate for criminal justice issues.

“Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back in the reflection,” Kim captioned a carousel of photos of herself in a blue Balenciaga gown while looking at herself in the mirror. “For anyone who doesn’t know my law school journey, know this wasn’t easy or handed to me.”

Kim shared that she failed the exam three times in two years. One of those times she tested positive for COVID-19 and had a 104-degree fever. Though she’s “not making excuses” for what happened. Kim kept trying until she finally passed the exam.

Kim is studying law without attending a traditional school. Passing the baby bar is the equivalent of completing one year of law school. She shared her story in hopes that it would inspire others. It looks like Lala Kent was inspired as well.

On her podcast, the Bravo star said that she might pull an Elle Woods and go to law school. Moments before that, she joked about how brilliant she is, even though she only went to community college. Lala’s friend, Jessica, broke the news that Kim just passed the baby bar.

“Is it crazy that I have chills?” Lala Kent exclaimed. “You just broke that news. That is absolutely incredible. I’m inspired. That is amazing.”

She admitted that she “would be a savage” in the courtroom and “would represent women.” Jessica admitted that the host isn’t kidding around. Once Lala sets her mind on something, she sees through it.

Vanderpump Rules star doesn’t want to be “dependent on a man”

She saw it through when it came to her beauty business, Give Them Lala. She started her brand so she would no longer be “dependant on a man.” On Tuesday’s episode of the reality series, the 31-year-old asked her former fiance to help her hire a personal assistant. Lala admitted that she had no idea “what to look for” when it came to that.

She explained that she’s been “overwhelmingly busy” since welcoming their daughter, Ocean, in March. Lala was interested in launching her first-ever Give Them Lala Beauty party. However, she felt overwhelmed by the idea. So, she took on Randall’s suggestion of hiring a personal assistant. In her confessional, Lala explained why she launched her beauty business.

“I started Give Them Lala because I wanted independence,” Lala Kent explained. “I don’t ever want to be dependant on a man.”

Then she joked that he bought her a Birkin bag. Aside from the beauty brand, Lala used the Give Them Lala name for her memoir, podcast, skincare brand, and children’s brand. She has been focused on expanding her empire on the heels of their split.
