Chris Combs and Tammy Slaton push Amy Halterman too far
Heading home from their doctor’s appointment, Chris Combs probes Tammy. He wants more details on how she’s able to enjoy so many cheat days. After all, Tammy Slaton is unable to leave the home on her own. So, someone has to be enabling her. Tammy is quick to place the blame on Amy for bringing her the cheat food she wants. Tammy Slaton, however, clarifies Chris really shouldn’t blame Amy. She explains that she pressures Amy into getting her the food, so she does.
Furious, Chris notes that Amy Halterman hit every branch on the stupid tree on her way down. After making this statement, his phone rings and it is none other than Amy. Chris proceeds to tear into Amy after revealing Tammy had gained weight. Chris Combs insists his sister needs to do a better job of making sure Tammy has access to the right foods and stop enabling her with the wrong choices.
Amy Halterman insists it is just easier to give into Tammy than to argue with her.
The TLC star becomes emotional
Amy Halterman explains she’s stuck in a d*mned if she does and d*mned if she doesn’t situation. If she doesn’t give Tammy Slaton the food she asks for, she has Tammy on one side of her “b*tching.” And, if she does give Tammy the food she wants she has their brother Chris Combs on the other side “b*tching.” Amy Halterman admits that she’s just really sick of everyone b*tching at her and doesn’t like being Tammy’s caretaker.
The frustrated TLC star is also quick to point out that she is NOT Tammy’s mother. She doesn’t want to be Tammy’s mother. And, most importantly, she cannot lose the weight for Tammy. Her sister has to lose the weight on her own.
Amy Halterman ended her emotional rant by noting that she needs help and has her own things going on too.

I really like Chris but maybe he should have Tammy move in with him and take care of her. Tammy is a food addict. If he can do better let him put up with Tammy’s ranting, and mood swings. He did well on his weight loss program. Let him now give Amy a much needed break. He tried dieting with Tammy and saw it didn’t work. She cheated then. Best place for Tammy is back in Rehab where she will exercise and have the proper diet.
