Is Peter Madrigal Still On ‘Vanderpump Rules’?

Fans want to know if Peter Madrigal is still on Vanderpump Rules. It’s no secret that the show looks much different these days. In June 2020, Bravo fired original cast members Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, followed by newcomers Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni. In December 2020, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their respective exits.

Season 9 shows the return of Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Charlie Burnett. However, there’s one fan favorite that’s noticeably missing from the cast. Peter opened up about whether he’s still a part of the show and what he’s been up to.

Peter Madrigal addresses his noticeable absence

According to a new report, the OG cast member talked about his disappearance from the Bravo show. The SUR manager addressed the fans’ concerns. They haven’t seen him at all on Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. Earlier this month, Peter took to Twitter to ask his fans to join him on a drinking game.

The rules are simple. Drink every time you see him and drink when you don’t. That’s a lot of drinking. One fan said that they miss seeing him on the show. The restaurant manager spoke out about his disappearance.

“I am at SUR working all the time — holiday season is upon us!” Peter Madrigal tweeted. “Bravo shows what they want to, and that’s ok… buying homes & babies = exciting & I’m happy for my friends. But everyone saying OGs are gone or don’t work there isn’t true — I never left.”

The 37-year-old concluded his message with the hashtags: “Pump Rules” and “I Really Work at SUR.” He took to the social media app to confirm that he really manages the restaurant. Peter attempted to quash any rumors that the cast members only work at the venue when they’re filming the show. Unfortunately, his job doesn’t make for exciting TV moments.

Peter Madrigal was part of the OG cast from the beginning. He even joined the cast on their countless trips around the world. However, he took a step back from the cameras. Peter wanted to stay behind the scenes as he manages Lisa Vanderpump’s popular restaurant.

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to be on reality TV. Peter just wants to be taken more seriously with his job. In a previous tweet, he confirmed that he’s still single. If given the opportunity, he would end up on his own show, a la Winter House.

“Hello, I am single and like vacations when not working fulltime [sic] at SUR,” Peter Madrigal tweeted at the time. “And, they already have 2 bars. Throw me a fricken bone here…😳”

Fans would love to see more of Peter on television. Following the Bravo firings last year, he expressed an interest in getting back to work on television following the coronavirus pandemic. In an interview with Page Six, he admitted that he would “definitely come back” for another season. He would also like the focus to be on his personal life.
