What’s going on with Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson? The pair made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The pair announced that they will co-host Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party in Miami. However, fans couldn’t help but notice the awkward sparks between them.

As fans already know, Pete is dating Kim Kardashian. The comedian has been making headlines for his personal life lately. He’s already been linked to his share of beautiful women. Some claim he jumps from woman to woman.

The new duo revealed that they got matching tattoos after their Saturday Night Live appearance. Miley hosted the show back in 2017. Since then, the two became friends. Their tattoos are inspired by “The Baby Step,” a sketch in which they both dressed as “trap babies.”

“It was a very dark time in our lives,” Pete Davidson joked.

“We were dressed as babies, everything seemed fun and fine,” Miley explained.

They both told Larry David, “We babies.” At the time, they agreed that it made for a good tattoo. Pete texted his tattoo guy to visit 30 Rockefeller Center during filming. Miley joked she “should have known that was sketch.” She showed off her ink, which was on her foot. Then, she learned that Pete had his removed.

“I burned mine off and you still have yours,” Pete said, showing her his naked wrist.

During the interview, Miley shared that she took the SNL cast member to his first gay bar. Pete confirmed what she said and admitted that he had a good time. He’s not someone who hits up the clubs. So, Miley decided to do something different with him.

“I loved it,” Pete Davidson said. “I felt like the coolest guy ever.”

The two recalled their night out together. Miley wasn’t sure “if he was aware that there was like, a penis on [his] head,” at one point. The details of their night out were a bit fuzzy. Pete tried to explain himself. Miley had to convince him to go out with her.

“Oh yeah, I was just chilling there with a drink. I never really go out and she was nice enough to invite me out, and I was just sitting there,” he explained. “And for like, I guess 20 minutes, this guy’s dick was just on my shoulder. I had a bruise the next day.”

Their spontaneous moments have fans seeing them as friendship goals. But things took an interesting turn when Miley serenaded Pete later on in the show. This is leading some to wonder if they will take their relationship to the next level in 2022.

The Suicide Squad star put his hands on his face and laughed. The “Wrecking Ball” singer walked up to him and serenaded him on Jimmy Fallon’s desk. She playfully grabbed his face as she dropped references to Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s date to Staten Island.

Will he join Miley in an epic NYE performance?

It’s clear that these two have serious chemistry. Some fans feel it would make sense if they end up dating each other. Pete is co-hosting Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, which will air on NBC on Friday, December 31. The live event will include “a star-studded lineup of special guests and musical performances for a must-watch evening.”

Miley said she wants Pete to join her in one of her performances. She also wants to honor 2021 and the “micro-moment of happiness that all of us can find.” Miley wanted to host the event in Miami because she doesn’t like New York City winters. She added, “He’ll be funny and I’ll be naked and together we’ve got a show.”
