James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss could be the next couple to end their engagement. As fans already know, the Vanderpump Rules cast filmed the Season 9 reunion on Friday, December 3. The focus was initially going to be on Lala Kent’s split from former fiance Randall Emmett. Now, James is stealing the spotlight amid the rumors that he’s a single man once again.

Does this mean that Lala and James will be back together again? The two never really dated. They just hooked up after a drunken night out. Yet, James still holds a candle for Lala, even if he doesn’t want to admit it. The two are good friends who have gone through their sober journeys together, so it would make sense for their friendship to turn into something more.

Earlier this week, Lala teased that she was filming the Vanderpump Rules Season 9 reunion with the rest of her castmates. At first, she took to her Instagram Stories to share her look for the reunion special. On the Wednesday, December 1 episode of the Give Them Lala podcast, she talked about whether she will spill the tea on her split from Randall Emmett.

On Saturday morning, December 4, there are whispers that James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss split up. Earlier this year, the DJ popped the question to the beautiful model. The two appeared to be in engagement bliss. However, there are still concerns over James’ behavior, especially when he bumped Raquel’s nose after she got rhinoplasty.

The reality star explained that she didn’t like the look of her nose. So, she got it done. But that all went downhill when James bumped her nose when he tried to kiss her. VPR fans don’t believe Raquel’s story, especially when they’re aware of his anger issues.

Social media exploded on Saturday morning with rumors that the two ended their engagement. The fan account BravoByGays revealed that White Kanye has “something in common with the real Kanye.” The Blocked_By_Jaxx account shared the original post on Instagram Stories with the caption, “Wait what?!?!”

Is James still holding out hope for Lala Kent?

The timing is interesting considering that Lala just ended her engagement with Randall last month. Some Pump Rules fans are wondering if James is holding out hope that he can start a new life with Lala instead. He always said that he cared about her and liked her more than just a friend.

He even seemed jealous of Lala’s relationship with Randall. But he slowly came around and accepted them. Lala and James’ finally addressing their attraction to one another would make a good storyline for Season 10. Since they’re both sober, they could make it work in a cast filled with drinkers.

Raquel was even concerned about Lala at one time. She thought the former SUR-ver was out to steal her man right from under her nose. During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Raquel told host Andy Cohen that she’s no longer worried because James is “loyal” to her. If they did call it quits, he might hop back on the Lala train.
