Lisa Vanderpump Suffers Another Tragic Loss

Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd suffered another tragic loss. The couple shared that they are mourning the loss of their dog, Rumpy Pumpy. Vanderpump took to Instagram to share a photo of her beloved dog. He sadly passed away from cancer after the couple returned from a trip to London.

As fans know, Vanderpump is close to her pooches. Rumpy was one of her golden retrievers. This comes months after the loss of her pup, Avery. Vanderpump received Rumpy as a gift from her husband in 2013. Rumpy and Avery became very close and did almost everything together.

On Wednesday, December 2, Lisa Vanderpump posted a series of photos on Instagram in honor of Rumpy. The first photo shows her squatting down next to her beautiful dog in a floral dress. The next photo shows Todd giving the beloved pooch a kiss. The final one features a close-up of Rumpy.

“What a lovely boy, Rumpy passed away from cancer a few hours after we returned from London .. he waited for us,” Vanderpump captioned the slideshow. “We will always love him. 💔”

In an interview with The Daily Dish in 2015, the Bravo star said she fell in love with the dog. She loved seeing Rumpy and Avery play together. Avery even fell in love with her dog mom. Vanderpump recalled all of their precious moments together.

“They go for long walks and play in the garden. They seem like a married couple and I would say it was the best thing we could have done for Rumpy,” Vanderpump told the outlet. “I would urge people who think of getting one dog to get two if they have the room to play, as it helps keep each other occupied. Avery is obsessed with me and chasing a ball. She is a great addition to our family. I love her madly.”

It’s no secret that Vanderpump and Todd are huge animal lovers. Her passion for animals is what inspired her to start her non-profit dog rescue organization, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation. Fans see many dogs and animals at her beautiful Villa Rosa estate.

In 2017, the couple lost two dogs, Pikachu and Pink. On September 26, Vanderpump shared a post dedicated to Pink. A week later, she had to mourn the loss of her other fur baby. In 2020, the couple mourned the loss of their beloved Pomeranian, Giggy. The dog went everywhere they went and was loved by Bravo stars and fans alike.
