‘Long Island Medium’ Theresa Caputo Suffers Tragic Loss

Normally, Theresa Caputo is the one who helps people mourn the loss of a loved one. Now, she’s the one who is grieving. The Long Island Medium star took to Instagram to pay her respects to a special person in her life.

Over the long holiday weekend, Theresa enjoyed Thanksgiving with her family. She took to Instagram to share clips and photos from their celebration. The Caputo family reunited for the special occasion. The only one missing was Theresa’s ex-husband, Larry Caputo. The couple ended their 29-year marriage in 2018.

Mourns loss of Long Island Medium crew member

On Saturday, November 28, Theresa posted a touching photo of herself with Doug. The two posed for a photo during an outing. In her caption, the reality star revealed that he passed away recently. To celebrate his life, Theresa recalled a story about the Long Island Medium crew member who worked in the sound department.

“RIP 💔 Doug. It was such an honor and privilege to have worked with you, my sound checks will never be the same! You had this way of making everything fun, light-hearted 💙 and full of laughter,” Theresa wrote in the caption. “I am so thankful for all of these amazing memories, they are bringing me such peace and comfort at this time. I can hear you saying ‘We’re family T I love ya Miss Boss Lady see ya.’ Forever in our hearts ♥️ thank you for the signs! 🤍😇Until we meet again 🕊.”

Unfortunately, little is known about Doug and his life. Theresa’s caption revealed that he worked behind the scenes on the TLC show. Theresa’s post proved that the crew members were just as part of her family. It’s clear that he was just more than a co-worker. He was a big part of Theresa’s life.

Fans send condolences to Theresa Caputo

Long Island Medium fans flocked to the comment section to share condolences. So did some of Theresa’s famous friends. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak-Biermann wrote, “Oh no 😢🙏🏼 sending you lots of love.” This Is Us star Chrissy Metz commented, “I am so sorry. May Doug’s transition be full of love, light, and peace.❤️”

Most fans think Theresa will be able to feel Doug’s presence. She has the gift of communicating with spirits in the afterlife. She is probably overwhelmed by the grief and messages she’s receiving from him. In the reality series, she often comforts families and individuals who are dealing with the loss of a loved one.
