Based on the nature of Josh’s alleged crimes, there may be a connection to his prior molestation scandal. As fans may recall, in May 2015, details of a 2006 police report came out. The report revealed that Josh had inappropriately touched five underage girls, including some of his sisters, when he was a teen. At the time, Josh apologized for his “wrongdoing.”

On Monday, Jim Bob testified on behalf of the prosecution. He took issue with the reports of Josh’s molestation. “This was something for a young man to come forward,” he said. It referred to it as a “juvenile record” and a “sealed case.”

When he was asked about the report, he said, “I can’t remember.” He also said the report was “tabloid information.”

“I’m not going to allow it, are you going to allow for that?” he asked judge Timothy L. Brooks.

Prosecutors asked Jim Bob to read a copy of the report, and Jim Bob said, “I’m not going to do that.” When Jim Bob ended up reading the report in his head, he claimed that he still did not remember.

“If there is [an] objection to be made, someone will make it but it won’t be you,” the judge said.

  1. Jim obj thinks he is above the law as does Josh. I hope he is treated like other guilty people. He has ruined lives and he doesn’t think much about it, he has ruined the family I feel sorry for them, but not Josh and I’ve lost respect for JM that is the little I had for him. I feel so so sorry for his wife and children she should have walked out when she found out about the allegations from being a teen. He has not learned his lesson and he might not be able to comprehend the low life he has become. Let’s put him away for a few years he has worked hard to get there so now let him pay he has earned the right to live behind bars.
