‘RHOBH’ Fans Won’t See Kathy Hilton On Season 12, Here’s Why

Kathy Hilton confirmed that she’s “not back” for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 12. This comes amid the rumors that she refused to join for a new season. At first, Bravo fans weren’t sure how they felt about Kyle Richards’ sister joining the show. But now that they’ve gotten to know her, they can’t get enough of her.

Soon enough, she became a fan favorite. Fans loved Kathy for her sense of humor. They also liked that she didn’t involve herself in the drama. Instead, Kathy was known for her brilliant martini prank and not knowing how to play “Two Truths and a Lie” right.

Is Kathy Hilton heading back to RHOBH?

Earlier this month, Kathy Hilton didn’t seem certain about another season. At the time, reports claimed that she wouldn’t be returning for the twelfth season. It could be the reason why producers scrambled to find a new friend of the Housewives. Kathy spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her future with the Bravo show.

“You know, I don’t know what I’m doing tomorrow,” Kathy Hilton told the outlet. “I could be skiing off Mount Everest. I don’t — right now, I’m just concentrating on the wedding. ”

She meant her daughter Paris Hilton’s wedding to Carter Reum. The couple got married at the former Bel Air estate of her late grandfather Barron Hilton, the successor to hotelier Conrad Hilton. Reports surfaced that the breakout star hasn’t signed on as a “friend of the show” for Season 12. TMZ claimed that Kathy wanted a raise before signing on for a second season.

Sources close to production told the outlet that filming went on without her. Kathy was busy preparing for her daughter’s first wedding. Around the time, Kyle Richards kept quiet about her sister’s return. She told TMZ that they’ve both been busy prepping for the wedding, which took place on Thursday, November 11.

Kyle Richards’ sister sets the record straight

Both Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards were busy with the wedding. Yet, Kyle is still a part of the show. In a new interview with E! Online, Kathy explained why fans won’t be seeing her on RHOBH Season 12. It’s a very simple explanation.

“The reason I’m not back yet is I’ve just been doing a wedding,” Kathy Hilton told E! News on Tuesday, November 23. “Everybody speculates and all that, but I’ve been busy and haven’t had a chance to really focus and talk with my team and see, you know, what’s going on.”

She doesn’t have any issues with the show. In fact, Kathy enjoyed being a Housewife as much as fans enjoyed watching her. She loved the cast and crew and doesn’t have any complaints about doing the show. Even though the Season 11 reunion was “long and hard,” Kathy feels that it was a positive experience for everyone involved.

“One thing I will say, this is not manufactured drama on the Real Housewives,” Kathy continued. “I will tell you that. The way the girls are, really, what you see is what you get.”

She revealed that it doesn’t change when the cameras are gone. Kathy is “pretty close to most” of her RHOBH co-stars. She wouldn’t reveal who though. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 12 is currently in production.
