Is Joe Giudice Returning To America To Woo Back Teresa Giudice?
Joe Giudice is planning a return to the U.S. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was deported to Italy. Now that he has a new attorney, he’s planning his big move back to the states. He hopes to become a U.S. citizen once again.
This comes as Teresa Giudice moves on. She is engaged to fiance Luis Ruelas. Their fast-paced relationship came as a shock to fans. They think that he’s “using” her to get on television. However, Teresa claims that her new man could care less about being on TV.
Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice couldn’t make it work
In the premiere episode of Real Housewives Ultimate Girl’s Trip, Teresa Giudice got acquainted with The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey. She told her that she was not turned on by Joe Giudice when he returned home from prison. It was hard for her to even kiss him.
Teresa often wondered if their marriage would survive after their financial and legal woes. Their time away together did put a strain on their relationship. Teresa said she felt disconnected from her then-husband, Joe Giudice. She “didn’t feel anything” for him whenever they tried to get it on in the bedroom.
“I never thought I would divorce Joe,” Teresa said in her confessional. “I thought we’d be together forever but our marriage could not survive that.”
In December 2019, Teresa and Joe announced the end of their marriage. The couple was already in a long-distance marriage at the time. They couldn’t live together since Joe was in prison and then had to live in Italy, where he still lives to this day. Teresa has since moved on with Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
Joe has said that he’s “happy” for his ex-wife. However, he agrees with the fans that she’s “moved a bit quick into this romance.” What are Joe’s motives for returning to the U.S.? Is it because of Teresa’s engagement news?
Does Joe want the RHONJ star back?
Joe Giudice opened up about his decision to return to the U.S. The 49-year-old revealed that he misses his family. He shares Gia, 20, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 12, with Teresa. In an interview with Us Weekly, the reality star admitted that he missed out on his kids’ milestones when he was away.
“I would like to be able to see my children again in our home state, be a part of their lives,” Joe Giudice told the outlet. “Be physically present when they need me and watch them grow up.”
He also comes from a large Italian family. Not only is he missing his daughters, but he’s also missing his loved ones. This is the time of year when families gather together, so it makes sense that Joe Giudice is feeling the way he does. He noted that his mother lives in the U.S. as well.
Fans think Joe is trying to woo Teresa back now that she’s engaged. Regardless of his intentions, his attorney said that it could take time. Joe may not get a response to his deportation request for at least 14 months. Teresa might be married by then.
