‘Below Deck’: Fraser Olender Teases ‘Worst’ Guests Yet
Below Deck breakout star Fraser Olender talks about the “worst” guests on the show. Fans want him to replace former chief stew, Kate Chastain. They love the witty and sarcastic responses that he says under his breath. The 28-year-old became the latest recruit in the new season.
As fans know, there are already some difficult guests onboard the My Seanna. In the previous episode, Captain Lee Rosbach regrets his life as he has dinner with the rowdy charter guests who have a penchant for bourbon. They get so drunk that they argue with one another as the entire crew watches on.
Who are the “worst” charter guests?
Fraser Olender spilled the tea in a new interview. He revealed the very fight that shook up the Below Deck crew. The intense situation became “uncontrollable.” The situation took place when charter guest Michael Durham showed up. Fraser shared that he’s never seen anything like that in the span of his yachting career.
Shortly after Michael went to sleep, his fellow charter guests Justin Richards drank too much bourbon. He eventually lost his temper on his colleagues. He got into a screaming fest with his fellow guest, Terri Augustyn, who also had too much to drink. The scene made Below Deck fans concerned for her safety.
Fraser revealed that Michael’s group was “probably the worst guests we had in the way in which it got bad.” It quickly became physically violent, as fans will witness tonight. First officer Eddie Lucas had to step in and separate the group. However, that wouldn’t stop them from fighting.
“We didn’t know where things would go,” Fraser Olender said, as quoted by Reality Blurb. “Whether that be violent or whatever.”
The entire crew took the situation seriously. They feared for their own lives. Still, it was a difficult situation to manage. The charter guests traveled from the outdoor dining room to the crew quarters, where things really took off.
Below Deck charter guest was “overly aggressive”
The explosive fight will continue in tonight’s episode of Below Deck. None of the charter guests listen to the crew members. Instead, Terri continues to confront Justin. Eddie revealed in his confessional interview that Justin was acting “overall aggressive” to the point where it was concerning and no longer funny.
“This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from a charter guest,” the Below Deck star said. “It’s dangerous.”
Meanwhile, chief stew Heather Chief tried to deescalate the situation. Even that didn’t work. Justin yells out to someone, “I think it’s best you go f*** yourself and throw yourself off the boat.”
It looks like Captain Lee will have to step in and kick the guests off the yacht. It’s not like he hasn’t done it before. The Stud of the Sea doesn’t have time for drunken foolishness. He will gladly end a guests’ charter if he feels that it endangers everyone’s safety.
