Chris Harrison gone from Bachelor Nation but not forgotten
It’s been five months since Chris Harrison quit the Bachelor franchise. But fans are still begging for his return, especially with Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe hosting The Bachelorette. In some fans’ opinions, the co-hosts don’t compare to Harrison.
Although some fans refuse to move on, both Chris Harrison and the franchise are. ABC announced in September that former Bachelor lead Jesse Palmer will take over hosting duties, starting with a new season of The Bachelor in January 2022.
As for Harrison, he is living his best life away from the franchise. He recently proposed to long-time girlfriend Lauren Zima. In fact, the Entertainment Tonight host has a special connection of her own to Ben Higgins.
Former Bachelor host skips Ben Higgins and Jessica Clarke’s nuptials
As a newly engaged couple, Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima aren’t attending Ben Higgins and Jessica Clarke’s wedding. The nuptials are taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, November 13.
While hordes of Bachelor Nation alums – including Blake Horstmann, Becca Kufrin, and Wells Adams, among many, many others – are attending, the former host is not.
Does that mean he’s no longer on good terms with Bachelor Nation leads and contestants? Chris Harrison’s post on Instagram on the day of Higgins’ wedding reveals that their relationship is rosy.

While Chris Harrison may not be at the wedding in person, Ben Higgins and his bride-to-be are on his mind. The beloved Bachelor host took to his Instagram on Saturday, November 13, to share his heartfelt congratulations to the couple.
Alongside a photo of himself and Ben Higgins from the show, Chris Harrison penned a heartfelt note. He began the note by admitting that he “failed a few times” in helping Higgins find love on the show.
However, he wonders if the failure helped “open our eyes” to real love. “Happy wedding day my friend,” Harrison professes. He ended the note by sending his love to the happy couple.
Ben Higgins shared a post from Lauren Zima on his own Instagram Stories. In the post, Zima recalls interviewing Ben in 2019 when he confided that he “really liked” the woman he was dating. That woman was none other than Jessica Clarke.
“All the love and congrats,” the reporter wrote to Ben and Jessica.
