‘Below Deck’ Fans Want Fraser Olender As The New Chief Stew
Below Deck fans are rooting for Fraser Olender. The second stew made his debut in the Season 9 premiere. The series returned for a full season after the height of the COVID-19 pandemic cut it short. The drama is already beginning and it’s shaping up to be a good season.
This season features an all-new crew. Most of the crew members have never worked on the My Seanna before. They’re also learning how to work well and play well with one another. Fraser made it clear that he’s someone who strives for perfection. He’s also become known for his backhanded remarks about chief stew, Heather Chase.
Who is Fraser Olender?
Below Deck Season 9 debuted late last month. One of the new crew members is Fraser Olender, who works as a steward on the superyacht. From the moment he stepped on board, he judged the interior. He also side-eyed the work ethic of his interior team.
Fraser Olender was born in London, England. However, he’s lived in various places around the world. He studied psychology at the University of Buckingham from 2011 to 2014. Instead of pursuing a career in that field, he became a talent agent for male models.
Two years later, he got his first job as a talent agent at Premier Model Management. Fraser took a break from the modeling industry and started working in the yachting industry. He became one of the most well-traveled crew members. On his Instagram page, Fraser loves to show the picturesque locations he gets to work in.
Below Deck fans are dying to know more about Fraser. They love his sassy personality and his witty remarks. He does not hide how he feels about his superior. The Season 9 trailer revealed that he may come head-to-head against Heather later on in the season.
While she hasn’t warmed up to fans, Fraser is quickly becoming a fan-favorite. Some feel that he should become the new chief stew.

Fraser Olender made his Clubhouse debut on Watch What Happens Live. He made an appearance alongside Rayna Lindsay. Below Deck fans loved how well the two answered questions and played along with the segments. Even host Andy Cohen was impressed.
Most of them took to Twitter to share their thoughts. Below Deck fans want Fraser to become the next chief stew. They think his banter could make him the male version of Kate Chastain.
- “Fraser should be chief stew.”
- “They gotta lock Fraser down as chief stew.”
- “Fraser back next season as the chief stew, we finally found someone that comes close to the same level of sass as Kate.”
This comes after Andy asked Fraser how she could improve on leadership. He responded by saying, “doing a bit of work.” The audience went wild over Fraser’s answer and so did the viewers at home. Even Rayan agreed, adding that he’s saying “nothing but facts.”
