Wait, Is Jeremiah Duggar Breaking His Family’s Courtship Rules?
Jeremiah Duggar may be done following his family’s rules. Counting On fans are aware of the family’s strict guidelines for modesty, courtships, and more. As some of the kids have grown up, gotten married, and moved out, they have ditched some of the rules. Now, Jeremiah may be following in his older siblings’ footsteps. So, what exactly is going on?
Former Counting On Stars Make Their Own Rules
Over the years, fans have gotten to see members of the Duggar family make their own decisions after leaving Jim Bob and Michelle’s home. Fans often applaud the kids for deciding what’s right for them and their families rather than continuing to follow their parents’ rules.
Jill Dillard is one member of the family who is always testing her limits and determining what she truly believes. The Duggar daughter has pierced her nose, worn shorts, taken her son to public school, and much more. Jinger Vuolo, Jessa Seewald, Jana Duggar, and Joy-Anna Forsyth have all proudly worn pants instead of skirts or dresses. John-David and Abbie Duggar revealed that they didn’t have to follow the same courtship rules as some of the other siblings.
Now, Jeremiah is figuring out what works for himself and his new girlfriend.
Jeremiah Duggar And Hannah Wissmann Ditch Strict Courtship Rules?
During an Instagram Q&A session on Jeremiah’s girlfriend Hannah Wissmann’s social media page, fans had a lot of questions about their relationship. They asked how the couple met, what they like about each other, and more. Also during the Q&A, a fan wanted to know about their courtship rules.
The fan asked, “Are you ‘courting’ with the same rules as the rest of the Duggar siblings?”
In response, Hannah wrote, “We are so grateful to have older siblings in both families that have shared what they did in this season of life. We have talked to them about our goals and are doing some things similar to them and some things differently!”
So, based on her response, it’s possible that they have ditched some of the strict rules. However, they don’t reveal what they are and aren’t doing. In the past, the Duggars have saved their first kisses for married and only gave side hugs. Maybe Jeremiah and Hannah will share more about their courtship rules soon.
