Jinger Vuolo Applauded For New ‘LA Girl’ Style: See Photo
Counting On fans have loved seeing Jinger Vuolo grow and blossom into her own person. Over the past few years, she’s changed her style, colored her hair, and questioned her family’s beliefs. Now, the Duggar daughter is showing off her “LA girl” fashion choices and fans are totally here for it. So, what did Jinger wear, and what would her family say about it?
What Does The Duggar Family Say About Modesty?
Fans of the Duggars know that the family cares a lot about modesty. The girls in the family are expected to wear skirts or dresses. In her book with her husband Jeremy Vuolo, The Hope We Hold, Jinger wrote, “My mom had always dressed us girls in skirts and dresses, a standard that was taken from Deuteronomy 22:5, which says, ‘A woman shall not wear a man’s garment.'”
However, Jinger began to explore her family’s beliefs and determined that wearing pants “wasn’t disobeying a biblical command.” She continued, “Modesty was a huge topic in our house, and we believed that wearing skirts instead of pants was a central part of being modest. But I wanted to discover for myself what the Bible had to say.”
When Jinger moved out of her parents’ home and married Jeremy, she began dressing how she wanted to and how she felt she could, based on her new beliefs.
Jinger Vuolo Proudly Shows Off Her New Style.
In a new Instagram post on Wednesday, Jeremy showed off his wife’s style. The couple was at Big Bear Mountain in California, so Jinger is standing in front of an amazing view. The Duggar daughter is wearing black ripped skinny jeans with a burgundy Harvard sweatshirt. She’s also wearing boots and a baseball cap.
One fan applauds Jinger for wearing trendier clothing that fits her Los Angeles lifestyle. The fan writes, “She is definitely LA girl now.”
Another fan adds, “Love the whole fit 👌” More fans chime in on her fashion choice. One writes, “You look so cute … my fashion sister.”
Someone else points out, “Jinger you look so good dressing more modern and you have good taste. You can be modest and dress in style!!❤️”
