Lindsay Arnold Celebrates Daughter’s First Birthday — See Pics!
It seems like only yesterday we covered DWTS pro Lindsay Arnold giving birth to her first child. As of November 2, baby Sage is officially one! Lindsay and the rest of the Arnold clan were so excited to celebrate the occasion and posted lots of photos online.
In case you didn’t know, Lindsay Arnold is the oldest out of four sisters. That means there’s no shortage of family love to go around.
And there is definitely no shortage of baby Sage’s birthday photos floating around online.
Lindsay Arnold celebrates her daughter’s first birthday in style
On all four of the Arnold sisters’ Instagram pages, you can see adorable photos of Sage enjoying the party. In the past, Lindsay described Sage as a “very happy baby” and it’s clear to see that is true. There are balloons everywhere. Many photos seem to feature an inflatable in the background too.
And of course, what would a birthday party be without cake? Sage got her very own birthday cake to enjoy. Everyone really seemed like they had a great time at the party.
A first birthday is a pretty big milestone, but this isn’t the only major milestone Lindsay Arnold and her family are celebrating. Sage recently took her first steps too!
The dancer recently posted an Instagram video of Sage toddling around just a few weeks before her first birthday. Pretty soon, we’ll probably hear that Sage is learning how to dance just like her famous mother.
Making the transition from TV star to motherhood
We all know and love Lindsay Arnold for her roles on So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars. But being a mom seems like her biggest role yet.
At the beginning of the year, many fans weren’t sure that she would return to TV at all. After all, being a new mom is a lot of work and DWTS requires so much physical strength and training. But even so, Lindsay was determined to make a comeback and return for Season 30.
“So, I have every intention of coming back!” Lindsay told ET in an exclusive interview. “I am ready to go, I feel good, I want to dance again, I’m super excited about it. But as you know, us pros don’t really get to decide if we come back. We can say we want to do it, but at the end of the day, [producers] have to ask us back on the show, which doesn’t happen until the last hour, I swear.”
Luckily, producers did ask Lindsay to come back. She went on to say that she planned to dedicate the season to her daughter Sage.
Lindsay Arnold teamed up with Bachelor star Matt James for Season 30. The two are gone from the competition now, but you can still catch Lindsay in opening numbers and on the sidelines.
