‘Below Deck’ Eddie Lucas Has A New Girlfriend — Who Is She?

Eddie Lucas hasn’t had much luck in the romance department. The Below Deck franchise is mostly known for its boatmances and messy hookups. For some reason, the high seas and relationships don’t mix. It’s probably because the crew is young and hot, and looking for the next thing that catches their eye.

As most people know, long-distance relationships don’t last. That’s especially the case when you work in the yachting industry. Some would say that Eddie had a rocky past when it came to it. During Season 3, he was in a long-term relationship that he ruined on his own will.

Below Deck — Eddie Lucas hooked up with Rocky Dakota

Fans can’t forget the time when Eddie Lucas and Raquelle “Rocky” Dakota infamously hooked up in the laundry room. On Monday night’s episode of Watch Watch What Happens Live, Captain Lee Rosbach told host Andy Cohen that having cameras installed in the laundry became “the Eddie rule.” Rock and Dakota’s hookup made an impression on the Below Deck franchise.

The two couldn’t resist each other, even though Eddie was in a relationship at the time. Of course, it came with its share of drama. Rocky was also known for her wild behavior and poor work ethic. She jumped the boat and swam away when Captain Lee fired Chef Leon Walker.

Suddenly, Eddie was aware of how crazy Rocky is. He started to separate himself from her for the sake of the crew. Though Rocky admitted to their fling, he later denied it on national television. He received backlash for the way he treated Rocky and his former girlfriend.

Eddie was able to redeem himself in Season 8. He stayed out of all boatmances and hookups. Instead, he was focused on his position of boastwain. During the time, Eddie admitted that he was single.

First officer is officially off the market

On Monday night’s episode of Below Deck, Eddie Lucas confirmed that he’s in a new relationship. The aspiring captain said that ever since he turned 36, he realized that he wants to take his life seriously. Eddie is doing well when it came to his career. Yet, he longed to be in a serious relationship again.

Eddie did not share the details of his new girlfriend. On his Instagram page, it’s hard to see who he’s dating. It doesn’t look like the couple has become Instagram official. Eddie is often private when it comes to his personal life.

Eddie’s revelation may break some hearts. Some fans started to get a crush on Eddie after Season 8. Their attraction grew as they got to know him and his relationship with Captain Lee. His beard didn’t hurt either.
