Fans Remind Lisa Rinna Of Her Controversial Halloween Costume

Lisa Rinna shared a throwback post in lieu of Halloween. It’s unclear whether The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star will dress up this year. She often celebrates the spooky holiday with her co-stars. Fans recall when she even dressed up as Erika Jayne one time.

Yet, haters won’t let her forget her controversial costume. The Rinna Beauty founder took to Instagram to post a series of her memorable Halloween moments with her husband Harry Hamlin. The two love to play dress-up together and it shows. Of course, some fans had to troll Rinna about her infamous costume from years ago.

In November 2015, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin apologized for dressing up as their version of the couple Sid and Nancy for Halloween. At the time, the reality star claimed they were just “being authentic to the characters.” Harry Hamlin wore a swastika T-shirt as part of his Halloween costume. He paired it with a red motorcycle jacket and black jeans.

Meanwhile, Rinna wore a red tank top with black leather pants and motorcycle boots. She topped off her look with a blonde curly wig. She also had on a brown leather belt, smokey eyeshadow, and red lipstick. The couple got backlash for Harry Hamline’s anti-Semitic shirt.

“If I hurt you we were being authentic to the characters of Sid and Nancy for our Halloween costumes,” Lisa Rinna wrote on Instagram. “It hurt and angered many of you and we are deeply sorry for that. That was never our intention. We did not mean to offend. With love, Lisa and Harry.”

Harry Hamlin never addressed the controversy publicly. Fans slammed him as “ignorant” and “offensive” for wearing the T-shirt. Though she issued an apology, fans continue to remind Rinna about that costume to this day. She recently received backlash for her treatment of Garcelle Beauvais during the RHOBH Season 11 reunion.

Fans remind her of her insensitive couple’s costume

On Thursday, October 29, Lisa Rinna took a walk down memory lane. She shared a series of photos of some of her most memorable couple’s costumes with her husband Harry Hamlin. Over the years, the Bravo couple dressed up as Sonny and Cher, Lucy and Ricky, Tiggy and Andy Warhol, and a couple of pirates. Rinna has also dressed up as Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and countless other celebrities.

One Instagram user wrote, “Ur missing one ……” while a second added, “Why didn’t you post the photo of Harry in his swastika shirt.” A third one commented, “Looks like you forgot one Rinna. You know which one… 🙄.”
