‘OutDaughtered’ Fans DISGUSTED As Danielle Busby Uses God’s Name In Vain
OutDaughtered fans were disgusted and horrified after Danielle Busby was BUSTED using God’s name in vain recently. The TLC mother was pretty active on her Instagram Stories over the past few days. Turns out, she was also pretty frustrated with her husband Adam. So frustrated that she ended up using God’s name in vain. In the comments of a repost of the video on Facebook, one OutDaughtered fan was quick to call attention to Danielle using the Lord’s name in vain. They reminded Danielle Busby it was a sin to do such a thing.
How did Danielle Busby use God’s name in vain?
Toward the end of a series of video clips Danielle posted on her Instagram Stories, she used the word “God” instead of the word “gosh.” You can watch the video clip where Danielle says the Lord’s name in vain down below.
Why was the OutDaughtered mother so upset with Adam?
As Danielle Busby explains at the end of the clip above, she had to clean up after her husband Adam twice during the same day. She clarified that while she’s usually understanding and doesn’t mind cleaning up after him… There was really no excuse for him to leave a piece of trash on the counter directly above the trash can.
Danielle recorded herself picking up the trash, opening the cabinet door, and throwing the trash away just to demonstrate how close the piece of trash was to the trash can both times.
Early that same day, Danielle Busby did use “gosh” when she was frustrated with her husband. But, the second time, she slipped up and said “oh my god” instead. And, OutDaughtered fans were NOT happy about it.
Did Danielle Busby actually use God’s name in vain?
Back in 2009, ABC News wrote an article on whether using “OMG” while texting was considered blasphemy. Turns out, there is a massive difference between typing “OMG” and saying “oh my god.” Basically, when a person types “OMG” it is considered to be typing the same thing as “wow.” So, it is not considered blasphemy. But, when a person says “oh my god” it is considered to be blasphemy and using the Lord’s name in vain.
Danielle and Adam Busby are recognized for being extremely wholesome and committed to their faith. So, Danielle Busby using God’s name in vain while frustrated at her husband is something that didn’t sit well with some fans.

Should Danielle of said it, no but I believe it has been blown up far to much! Unfortunately when your life is on national TV, you will get pros and cons on everything you do!
