Could Erika Jayne’s Plans To Stay On ‘RHOBH’ Backfire?
Erika Jayne may have regrets about staying on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She will return for another season. Bravo producers want to resume production as soon as possible. The Pretty Mess author already dealt with an emotional and difficult Season 11.
Still, she remained on the show. The dancer even showed up to the four-part reunion where she answered tough questions from host Andy Cohen. Erika has fears that the subpoenaed footage will come out during Season 12. Producers have already been shady in regards to her divorce and embezzlement case.
Subpoenaed RHOBH footage could reveal “dirty laundry”
Up to this point, Erika Jayne has kept tight-lipped about her personal life. She didn’t even share many details about her marriage to her estranged husband Thomas Girardi. According to a new report, she is not ready to face the “nightmare” that is her life. She has a feeling that her “dirty laundry” will be exposed in Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Attorney Jay Edelson requested hundreds of hours of footage that was left on the cutting room floor for some reason. He’s investigating the never-before-seen footage from the Bravo series amid the ongoing legal battle between Erika Jayne and Thomas Girardi. An insider revealed that she’s nervous about her secrets coming to light.
“This is a total nightmare for Erika,” an insider told Us Weekly. “She’s devastated that all her dirty laundry could potentially be made public.”
The attorney felt that the network was protecting their popular reality star. However, they were more than happy to provide the footage. Bravo doesn’t want to be in this mess. They’re probably protecting their backs.
“Bravo does not want to get in the way of the legal system,” the insider added.
Erika could have second thoughts about returning for another season. It’s believed that the plot will be the ongoing legal drama. She’s already been in the hot seat in Season 11. The pop star had a falling out with her co-stars, except for Lisa Rinna.
Erika Jayne has to deal with “nightmare” in new season
The insider noted that Andy Cohen is “interested in finding out the truth about Erika’s money – and how much she knew about where it was coming from as well.” Throughout Season 11 of RHOBH, many of Erika’s lawsuits were talked about. Since the show saw an uptick in ratings, they want to keep the headliner on the show. Bravo “loves” how everything came out during the season.
“So many people are talking about this current season, and it’s been great for ratings,” the insider told Us Weekly.
As for Erika Jayne, she is “nervous that her own words will be used against her in court.” Yet, she has no choice but to return to Season 12 since the show is her sole source of income. She has a fear about her “words coming back to haunt her.” The blonde vixen made $600,00 for appearing on Season 11 and is reportedly asking for a raise ahead of Season 12.
