Will Emma Slater Be The Next ‘DWTS’ Pro To Become A Mother?
Last year was a big year for Dancing With The Stars. Many pro dancers became parents for the first time! There’s so much love between the cast members that a few others are getting baby fever just being around them. After a recent interview, many DWTS fans wonder if Emma Slater will be the next cast member to become a mother.
Many people close to Emma Slater are having children and it’s giving her baby fever
All the Dancing With The Stars pros are close. But Emma Slater has a close, personal friendship with both Witney Carson and Lindsay Arnold. Both women became first-time moms in the past year.
Hollywood Life recently caught up with Emma to ask if her friendship with the women influenced her family planning at all.
“I do get fever!” the 32-year-old dancer admitted. “I was actually just looking at Sage, Lindsay’s little girl, walking for the first time today. … I’m not sure yet how I feel about it. I’m thinking about it.”
Emma’s dance partner this year is Jimmie Allen. He and his wife Alexis recently welcomed their second child on October 16. Without a doubt, that’s just adding to Emma’s baby fever.
“He has been so excited and talking about this pregnancy since I met him,” the dancer told Hollywood Life. “If we need to take a step back from rehearsals, I am going to let him do whatever he needs to do and then I’ll completely drill him with the steps later on. He’ll lose sleep trying to get the dance. I know he will. But I definitely do not want to take time away from him and his beautiful wife to enjoy that special time.”
Professional dancing takes up quite a bit of time, which needs to be taken into consideration
Emma Slater is married to her costar, Sasha Farber. Both really love their time on Dancing With The Stars and may want to put more time into their career first before making time for a family.
“I’m a baby myself a lot,” Emma told Us Weekly over the summer. “I feel like I’m 32, so definitely I could be thinking about it, but I just still feel like I’m not quite that age yet. There’s a lot of women that feel like that. I don’t know if it’s just [because] I’m so involved in my career.”
There’s definitely no harm in waiting a bit! DWTS fans hope both Emma and Sasha will be part of the series for quite some time.
