‘RHONY’ Cast Reportedly Ignoring Eboni K. Williams
On the outs? Three RHONY cast members reportedly snubbed Eboni K. Williams at a party. This comes amid the reports that the show is on an indefinite hiatus. Season 13 ended with a whimper rather than a bang. The cast could not agree on a place and time for the reunion special.
It’s unclear when the show will return. Bravo producers are scrambling to save the show. But can anything save it from its unlucky season? Meanwhile, Eboni is not speaking to most of her cast members. At first, it was assumed that Ramona Singer was the problem. Read on to learn more.
RHONY is currently on hiatus
The Real Housewives of New York Season 13 reunion was canceled last month. Fans were disappointed to hear that they won’t get any closure to the controversial season. Ramona Singer refused to show up to the reunion. In the meantime, the show saw a steep decline in ratings.
The show will have to bring new life in order for fans to watch it again. After months of speculation, Bravo pulled the plug on the Season 13 reunion. The network released a statement explaining why they made the difficult decision. There was a scheduling conflict with most of the women.
“Due to scheduling challenges around taping the reunion of The Real Housewives of New York City in a timely manner, Bravo confirmed there will not be a reunion for the season,” the statement read. It’s disappointing to not be able to bring the cast back together, but we are happy to have ended on such a high note with the finale, and are now shifting our focus to next season.”
The final episode was the only positive one out of the entire season. The cast could not get along, especially when it came to race issues. Eboni K. Williams brought some interesting discussions on the show, however, it did not go over well with her cast members. As a result, most of them are ignoring her.
Cast shuns Eboni K. Williams
According to a new report, RHONY stars Leah McSweeney, Luann de Lesseps, and Ramona Singer avoided Eboni K. Williams at Dave Quinn’s launch party for his new book, Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of The Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It, on Tuesday, October 19. They booked it when she entered the party in New York City.
The report claims the three ladies made a “pact” that they would end the night early once Eboni attended the event.
“Luann, Leah, and Ramona had a pact [that] as soon as Eboni showed up, they would leave,” an insider told Page Six. “When Eboni entered from the right, they were on the left and exited. They fled as soon as she walked in.”
They believe that she is responsible for the dismissal ratings during Season 13. Apparently, the current cast members are still on good terms with Ramona. Fans blamed her for the show’s decline. The first Black cast member in New York believes that the OG cast members are to blame. As for Eboni, she danced the night away and had a good time at the party.
