For months, Chance has been away from home. The two embarked on a whirlwind romance which ended with a beautiful ceremony.

Shortly thereafter, they started planning their family. Then, Chance had to go away on a secret job. Abby has no idea where he is. She has been sending video calls, most of which she didn’t get a response to.

All Abby received was a fuzzy phone call. She got cut off, leading her to worry about her husband. However, the spoilers suggest that she will get disappointing news.

Abby is worried about becoming a single mother since he’s nowhere to be found. While she could lean on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), it doesn’t feel the same.

Abby is still living in a dream world. There are moments when she’s feeling overly optimistic about her husband returning home soon. But she will have to wake up and face the news about Chance. Thankfully, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will pay a visit since Abby will need someone else to lean on.

According to the Y&R spoilers for October 18-29, 2021, Abby will have a hard time living up to her dream life. She’s been hiding what she’s been really feeling all this time as a coping mechanism. It turns out that it won’t be her mom that has to share the upsetting news. Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will return to share the crushing news with Abby.
