‘Below Deck Med’ Season 6 Reunion: Where Is Lexi Wilson?
The Below Deck Med Season 6 trailer is out. All of the crew members of the Lady Michelle gather together for the three-part reunion, except for Lexi Wilson, who is noticeably absent. As fans remember, she was fired in the middle of the charter season for her indecent behavior. Captain Sandy Yawn was the one who ultimately fired her, after her argument with Chef Mathew Shea.
The former Miss Bahamas brought nothing but drama on board the superyacht. At the time, Lexi claimed that she was grieving the loss of her father. However, it did not excuse her behavior. Lexi’s poor behavior and work ethic led her to her subsequent firing.
Below Deck Med Season 6 trailer: Lexi Wilson is noticeably absent
Everyone gathered virtually for the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 reunion. Captain Sandy Yawn is joined by her Lady Michelle crew members — bosun Malia White, chief stew Katie Flood, chef Mathew Shea, stews Courtney Veale and Delaney Evans, as well as deckhand David Pascoe, Mzi Dempers, and Lloyd Spencer.
However, Lexi Wilson was not featured in the trailer. Fans wonder if she shows up later or is a no-show. It shouldn’t come as no surprise to anyone since she had problems with most of the cast. In the reunion, host Andy Cohen asks Katie if she regrets her decision with letting Delaney go too soon.
At the time, she wasn’t happy with Delaney’s work ethic. Her manner was mimicking Lexi’s, sans behavioral issues. Shortly after Delaney’s departure, Captain Sandy fired Lexi Wilson after her argument with Mathew after a crew outing. That left Katie with just one stew underneath her.
The two found themselves scrambling the rest of the charter season. Katie asked the exterior team to help her out during dinners. As a result, everyone felt exhausted by the end of the charter. The crew was spread thin and it showed.
Captain Sandy Yawn witnessed Lexi’s “disturbing” behavior
During the charter season, Captain Sandy Yawn was not aware of Lexi Wilson’s behavior. No one brought it to her attention. She had to find out for herself when she watched Below Deck Med Season 6 like everyone else. In an appearance with Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she shared her thoughts on the drama between Lexi and her crewmates.
“Of course I wanted to let her go. I never would have hired her. I don’t hire the crew. Everybody knows that,” Captain Sandy Yawn said. “[While] I feel for her, I would never tolerate that. I don’t see it until you see it. No one was giving me facts … I just heard it’s bad. It’s real bad. That’s not [enough for me].”
Lexi is a former Miss Bahamas Universe winner who competed in the 2013 Miss Universe. She promised that she would share her side of the story. But she probably still can’t share her side due to the NDA she signed. The Below Deck Med Season 6 finale airs Monday at 9 p.m. ET, followed by the reunion on WWHL at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
